It's been three years since Naked Snake was forced to kill his mentor "The Boss" during operation Snake Eater, and his hunger for the truth behind The Boss' final mission, The Philosophers, EVA's betrayal, and the people behind Snake Eater has only grown more and more vicious.
Three years of searching, and all Snake has to show for his efforts are more questions, however, all that changes when a former FOX comrade scouts Snake for one last covert op, this time, in Costa Rica, where the two believe the missing link to the truth may in fact lurk. What truly lies behind this last mission however, is beyond anything Snake could ever imagine...
