This. The damage in Official Skill is beyond retarded, especially on the Kuja Assist (and we all know how much THAT is used).

Hi, i'm trying to main yuna, I wanted to se a good build of her, but the only thing I saw in this thread are people fighting (up)... any ideas? I think that an assist build is good for her, her ex is great, but you are vulnerable for the assist punish or a combo, I'm still with doubts with her equipment for good assist build, any help?

If you're going for an Assist build, consider pouring your multipliers on Havent Ex revenge, not in Exmode, Ex Bar Empty and such while using Side by Side. its a good/Cheep Accessory which pumps up dat asisst bar each time an HP attack is delt to your opponent.
Use another kidns of accessorys that will also help with makking the Assist bar go up faster.

For Equipment, im not really, since mostly your acessories are wats gunna help your assist Bar.

well, for the equipments, that's what I have more doubts XDDD, but tnks for the tips of the accesories, now i'm more sure of what to equip her...
For the equipments I was thinking of death penalty with yuna because of the assist charge time

I don't want to remove her EX mode since it's effect is good and I don't think it's hard for her to get ex force since her exclusive weapon has 3m ex force absorb plus she can initiate chase easily w/ sonic wings.

About the Yuna builds check the Yuna character discussion thread, maybe there you will find some builds and some people who main her. And about Feral Chaos it is pretty simple, his Defense is low just use good equipaments then you will be fine against him without using Iai build.

I personally use a EX Build with first to victory, as yuna has good EX Abilities and 20% Assist is always a good thing to start with :3

I build Yuna mainly utilizing her Exclusive which has EX Intake Range +3m, a perfect tool for her moveset. Many of her attacks build upwards of 90 EX and most of them no less than 30 EX, so adding White Gem/Drops to a build along with Tenacious Attacker is an excellent option. Glutton is a good option as well if your opponent builds EX as well as you do, which prevents them from absorbing all of it on their own. After that, it's up to you what you choose to use, but I go with additional depletion so that I can avoid leaving my opponent with two bars of assist after my attacks, in order to follow up the attack with my own assist.

I'm currently running SbS build, but I'm not really sure if disregarding her EX mode is a good idea since it's the only way for her to deal good damage.

Her exclusive weapon, a JoL/SoL set, Battle Hammer, and Tenacious Attacker are the most commonly used items for Yuna from my experience. Hyper Ring is good too for damage.

As for an AST, Jecht/Kuja/Sephiroth/Aerith/Tidus/OK are all good choices, as you can combo easily off of them. That is not to say there aren't any other good ASTs as well, which in case you're free to experiment.

How about pure EX build like Lightning? I got the idea for this build from the Lightning section.

*** I'm not really sure about EXP to EX Force since it's useless after EX Bursts. Might replace it with EXP to HP for longer survivability.

With this build, Yuna can fill her EX gauge really fast since her attacks generate lots of EX Force.
And when in EX mode, Yuna can deal very good damage, even with Aerith assist. Heavenly Strike > Aerith > Sneak Attack Aerospark.
Lastly, there's always the perk of EX burst for breaking and/or finishing the match.

This gave me good results against my friend, I'm just not sure how viable this build is in tourneys.
Nevertheless, it's really fun playing with Double Summons! :D
