NA DISSIDA 012 vs EU DISSIDIA 012

I have been waiting to play my friend in USA dissidia 012 for a year now. he finally comes to where im at, and guees what, we cant play each other cus his version is American and mine is European. that really pissed me off. i thought that was really, really dumb. what do you guys think about, anyone else frustrated by this??

This was already common knowledge and there are a few threads already explaining that eu and na can't connect. A simple search via the search function or a google search would have yielded results and discussion about said subject.
