Once upon a time, there was a little kid named Rydia. He (yes I'm a guy even though I have a girl's name :3) got bored one day so he decided to change his graphic showcase to a graphic request thread.

Ok, so I hope you enjoyed my story. Cuz you better have. :3

So yeah, I've got nothing to do lately, so I thought I'd just change this thread so that people can request.

Rules
Yes I know, everyone hates these, but I've gotta do something to keep this under control right?

1. Don't nag me finish your request please. It's iritating. Especially since there's the fact that I'm doing this for fun.
2. 2 requests at a time please (One for avy and for siggy). It keeps me from being loaded with requests. Feel free to request again after I finish your request.
3. Don't steal. Self-explainitory.
4. Credit isn't manditory, but it'd be nice if you would credit me :)
5. Don't use anything anywhere else but DF

I haven't had much practice with these much but I'll do the best I can with them. I can make them pretty quickly since they don't take as much work as sigs.

I've had much more practice with sigs than avatars. I've got about 4 months of experience with them so far. These take quite a bit to finish so be patient with me please.

So I think I like this render the best. Most of the ones I could find were pretty much the same. I'm not sure if you can work with this, but if so, I'd like you to take the top half of jecht at least and put some glow on the sword or the gauntlet. Would also be cool if his eyes glowed a bit in honor of jecht beam. You're the artist though, so just do what you can, I'm sure Ill love it. Click Settings at the very top of the page (right above Lightning in the banner) and then click Signature Settings on the bar to your left. You can format your signature however you want there and you can add images to it with tags like you would any regular post.

Ok.....it says 'your signature can't be longer than 1000 characters including BB markup code. All I have is the image and like 5 words. :/

Anyway, as for the signature... Nice one, Rydia. And it was pretty fast too. The only thing I don't like is how the background is brighter/more vivid than Jecht himself, so the background ends up drawing more attention than the intended focal point.

The signature looks pretty nice, I dig the shiny light particles and the colors both look good and match the render. But isn't that style similar to the style you used in that Tidus sig?

I actually used a different style for this sig. The Tidus one, I used a tut was suppose to make his sword 'stand out' and was all pure C4ds. On this sig, I set most of the layers for C4ds on Normal rather than screen on GIMP. The tut I used for the OK sig was suppose to use brushes for color and stuff, but I have no brushes, so I just improvised. Didn't really noticed they look similar. xD

Edit: Haven't done a smudge sig in quite a while.

Go to your settings and then edit sig. Then edit it however you want. Most people tend to put their mains, subs, and a sig banner if they have one.

I like the Neku signature with all the vector brushes on the background, I think it suits the style of the game he's from. I also like the first Khell signature (is that girl Rita? I don't know, never played the Tales of games) because it flows well. I think the style you used for the Link signature didn't suit the artstyle of the render though, because it's kinda cartoony/super-deformed and the signature style is more 3D-ish.

I like the effects you used in the two icons, but the Lightning one looks a little funny because of the varied lighting in each frame... It looks like you applied a soft light duplicate over one frame but not the other. You have to be careful with that when you work with animated gifs, unless it's intentional.

Go to FFwiki and go to a character's main page. I'll use Tidus as an example. When you're at their page, scroll all the way down until you see the Dissidia entry of them. Right under it should be a Theatrythm entry with an image next to them. Now click that image (should be the TFF image) and it'll show you a larger version. On the bottom right, should be a little notepad thing. Click it and it'll bring you to the full size (1st frame). Scroll down a little, and it'll show you related searches. If the second frame is there, then it should appear there. If they don't have it yet, then it'll probably not be there.

What I did was make a C+P the render again and again until it covered the entire frame. Then I did a Noise>Pick filter on GIMP and blurred it after that, and set it on Hard light. Next I grab a couple splatter brushes and brushed behind the render and a little in front of it. Then I took the sparks brush and brushed a little on the bottom left. That's pretty much all I did.

I know you said you have no inspiration to work on sigs at the moment but could I just leave a request here for you to work on at your leisure?

Are you able to make something from these two pics? Maybe flip one of them to have them on opposite sides, facing each other?

Omg, that Jin sig. <3 I'm so tempted to take it. The ice-like effects are good, and the combination of shades of blue (and a tiny bit of cyan-ish blue) look appealing.

Great work, Rydia! I also like the Ragna signature, I think the way you handled the lighting in that sig made it look really nice. And grabbed the Ragna wallpaper also, it saves me the work of having to make my own. lol Glad to see my tutorial was useful. But personally I think you should lay off on the tech brushes a bit, I don't think it suits characters like Tao and Ragna.
