Getting rid off the reflex to enter chases is the same as for Ex-guards in 013, really. My tip would be to think to dodge-cancel backwards instead.

I'm sorry if I have absolutely no place in this discussion and if I don't you can feel free to delete this post, but would Rebellious Soul really be a problem? With no Assists, you guys won't have to do constant HP attacks to deplete your opponent's gauge (like in Official). As such, you could simply stockpile BRV once the enemy is close to entering critical HP to bypass Rebellious Soul entirely (since you don't have to worry about chipping for gauge depletion). I can understand the situation if it does become a close match, though, with both players on the very last strings of health and one of them gets an around 2500 or so BRV while the other is stuck at base BRV, but even at that point since they're both so close to death it wouldn't really matter, would it?

Just some food for thought. Hope you guys have an excellent tournament.

Hacked accessories of any sort, although you can equip two "after 30 seconds" boosters just fine even if you aren't supposed to be able to obtain two through normal means. If Kayarine reads this message, I tried to farm a second "after 30 seconds" with a friend card for more than a hour and it didn't work.

Well, the additional factor is that judging when someone's about to cross Bonecrusher threshold won't always be easy due to achy abilities. This ruleset is imo looking great, the last thing I'd want to see now is a comeback victory fuelled by Rebellious Soul. With myself, Powerqualle, Dragenyo, tenkaichan, and Oniangel onboard I guess we have enough votes?
I can see where Narolf's coming from on the chipping argument, but a chipping character could benefit just as much from the Rebellious Soul effect really.

On a side note, after experimenting with Sony Vegas for about half an hour, I'm finally converting my matches against Narolf and Oniangel. The horrible part? The length of the matches (Me vs. Oni) is making me wait 7 hours for it to be done! Oh the fun times. xD

I feel your pain. The entirety of my pool matches came out to 39 minutes, so I had to render it overnight as I slept. It ended up taking 5 and a half hours in all. It's finally done, though, so I'll uploading it and posting it here when done.
