It's very unusual for Square-Enix to release a buggy or just lazy game so this release surprised me. Squaresoft never would have done that.

How about the giant balancing issues DDFF and the previous one had? Your point is null and void.

Those are still two very polished, well made games. From what I hear FF14 is a train wreck. Maybe I should have been more specific but it seems like you're just kind of being an a-hole. It's pretty obvious what I meant.

Keep in mind that currently the game is incrementally becoming a modified version of Final Fantasy XI and, not the groundbreaking MMORPG that it had originally been touted to be. And, with the chance of a clean Playstation 3 launch, there is a chance that the game will recover and become a minor success. However, given that the mechanics and gameplay style of Final Fantasy XI aren't exactly popular with the current generation of gamers, it's difficult to say.

To be honest, online takes away (or heavily hinders) the way FF can mould story and control emotions, which is why I play it. I'm getting the Ps3 version, but I'm setting my hopes low.
