Heyo,

I'll gradually be posting videos of endgame boss battles in here, to help those of you who might be having trouble with them. I know I did, the first time I battled one of the endgame Caius's...

If you could beat him on your first try, great! If not, and you're still having trouble with him, give this strategy a shot. It revolves all around using Wound. More information can be found in the video's description.

Considering this is more or the less the hardest fight in the game, no, not really.

The HP is over 8k, because the Crystarium is maxed out. Like mentioned in the description, you won't need to be maxed, in order to win the battle using this strategy.

but you'll have to be pretty damn close right? His attacks keep hurting everyone even if i have a sentinel out :P

You must be talking about the full group battle against him? That one is actually easier than this one is (my experience), using the exact same strategy: Wound. There's more freedom in that battle for buffs, debuffs and healing, as well. But yes, it is harder at a lower level and probably undoable at a too low level.

Joking aside I suppose I did have two HP increasing accesories on him. I dont know, the 100 CP limit seems dumb to me, all the good accessories cost loads of CP<.

If you want hp-boosting accessories and a kick-ass build, it's worth it to craft FOUR delicate iron bangles to equip to Noel, also having Mac an Luin equipped. This way you get +32% HP (from delicate bangles) and the all nice "High HP: Power Surge-damage +25% ability".

This results in Noel having 6 ATB bars which also boost Meteor Javelin's damage and ATB recharge rate, having high HP (my noel reached more than 11.000 HP) and +25% damage when his HP is more than 70% full. Pretty neat huh? Keeping his HP high and the damage non-stop can be easily done switching between your damaging paradigm and a "diversity" one (com/rav/med).

This is very helpful to 5-star boss battles if you are missing a trophy or two ^^
