We initially were planning to stay together, but as you can see it didn't pan out that way. This way it evens out the teams and makes more available mercenaries if Hollowed and Ultima choose to go down that path, or potential leaders of future teams. Either way it was for the benefit of team wars.

Now that we're getting farther in the tournament, the matches will only gain in length. Same with strategical stage striking and customizing before fights. I wouldn't count on Cipher playing more than one match if we plan on starting at 9PM.

We could choose to split up and save time, but it would rule out the option of streaming. Personally I'd rather forsake the streaming and just get the matches over and done with. (2) Dissonant Nexus defeats (4) The Black Rose by 4-2 or better & (3) Prestige defeats (7) The Forsaken: (2) Dissonant Nexus and (3) Prestige play a direct tiebreaker set, winner wins the tournament
(2) Dissonant Nexus defeats (4) The Black Rose by 4-2 or better & (7) The Forsaken defeats (3) Prestige: (2) Dissonant Nexus wins the tournament, 2nd place determined by tiebreaker if necessary
(2) Dissonant Nexus defeats (4) The Black Rose by 4-3 & (7) The Forsaken defeats (3) Prestige: (2) Dissonant Nexus and (4) The Black Rose play a direct tiebreaker set, winner wins the tournament
(2) Dissonant Nexus defeats (4) The Black Rose by 4-3 & (3) Prestige defeats (7) The Forsaken: 3-way tie, the only way to resolve this is to have all 3 teams play the other 2 and the team with the most wins is crowned champion OR we use the built-in tiebreaker system.

The way the built-in Tiebreaker works: Teams are given a "power ranking" based on the opponents they faced in the tournament. The worst and best scores of the opponents you face are thrown out, then the remaining scores are added. If there is still a tie, they are settled via seeding at the start of the tournament.

I'm noticing a huge pattern of failed communication between both sides with a first message from Dart asking for Sunday as the date (no time), Shiro asking to confirm a time on IRC (no response), then Shiro coming here and the assumption that 10pm EDT will be sufficient. At no point did either side mention the timezone difference coming into play for these matches and potential conflicts due to that.

To be completely honest, matches at this point are to finalize the results within the tournament itself, but the matches aren't strictly necessary. I would prefer to have them for the sake of actually completing the tournament, but if the scheduling is going to become an issue, I would be fine with tossing the matches out. This tournament only awards prizes to the 1st place winner to begin with, which has already been decided. I'll leave the decision to the two leaders.

I was informed by Shiro tonight you guys are being a little impatient about the team sigs. I am very sorry for the delay, but with the recent car accident, work, and the stress of real life, I have not really had the time nor motivation to start any graphics projects in the past month or so (as was shown from my absence from the forums during August). Additionally, I should not have to be making changes for your sigs as often as Dart has been requesting them (no offense). Simple changes like color are just a plain waste of my time and frankly very annoying. Please choose a color and stick with it (I'd really appreciate it). Additionally, it is a real hassle to find images for new characters as I need to first find images matching the same art style as the others, cut the renders (in preparation for the banner edits in the future), adjust the color ratios to match the other renders, then add them to the sigs.

This is why I recommend when picking your character for the sig it is you're main among mains, not a main you will be temporarily be picking up. When I was preparing Shiros sig change from Yuna to Vaan, I made it prefectly clear to him beforehand that I would only change the sig once I have seen a noticable devotion to his new main. He showed that devotion so I filled the request. This is how it will go with me. I will only change what needs to be changed. This is also why I had held off on Halabaloos a little at the start before the car accident delayed it even further, since he was what you could consider "new" to the DDFF scene and I was awaiting a higher level of commitment to a main (as we all know we change mains a lot when we first start). If this seems silly, I am sorry, but I didn't want to end up making sigs that would get thrown away in a few weeks. I judged correctly on this

IF you would like two different sigs for different mains, I can arrange this (so I don't need to go back and start up again). Same can be said for color variations. I'd rather get all this done in one swoop than in numerous time wasting edits. When I'm in the mood for graphics, it is the best time to take advantage of me, as I work hardcore when I'm focused and will get things done very fast. I will in the future create a specialized album with sub-albums for each member on Photobucket to house these collections if you want to take advantage of this. That way, when you change mains, you can just grab the according sig/color variation.

Luckily, I am feeling much better now and AM GOING TO START WORKING on you're sigs tomorrow (or today... you know what I mean). I will try to complete them in one day, but I cannot promise anything (at most two days). I can promise that Hallabaloos will be finished though (and I would like to extend an extra sorry for the delay on his sig). Unfortunately his joining happened at a very... inconvenient time (IRL), so I am sorry if it seemed like I was being "lazy" or "incompetent".

To continue from my third paragraph, please send all details on additional sigs via PM and I will get on it. I will post the link to the sig album once I have organized everything.

I apologize for not coming in earlier with this request but could you possibly create one for Tidus? He's come to grow on me recently and i can see myself using him more often in these Team Wars (as he is in my top of "chars i'm interested in). I still believe Vaan will be my true main but i do want to really start using Tidus more. If you want me to show you to prove it, i'll gladly use him in more Team Wars until i've used him to your satisfaction. Hey guys I was wondering if next tuesday or thursday will be great day for a challenge against us. If you want me in the best times for those days would be in the after from 12 pm - 4 pm -7GMT I don't have school those days but i'm sure most of my team does so it might have to be a 2v2. If possible I would like to have hollowed and clavier in this challenge since I never fought them either before or much unlike furius skyler dart and hala. (Well actually i fought hollowed the other night but not as much as i like to). And i would like to have jecht experience since not many players use him. You don't have to use those players if you don't want to or if they are busy I understand. I'm not trying to avoid playing anyone else. I just like to see what the other members got since I played the rest of you quite a few times before.

So yea any of you can partake in the challenge but if hollowed and clavier can do it i really appreciate it. Then next tuesday and thursday (for me to be in it) I will take on Dart and whoever else (need my salty rematch against yuna :3) Keep me updated on what you guys can do

I Single handedly lost our challenge! WAHHH IM A FAILURE IM SURRRY, but on a serious note. I know you guys despise fighting Lightning but i had no idea how little i knew about matchups until today, so you have absolutely no clue how useful it would be if i could start using her more in training sessions or just play ddff more in general and use her. There are some things id really, really like to work on with her, and its really hard without the opportunities to play her, and there's some common mistakes i need to get out of my head XD

does this mean i can finally use prishe in casuals then?! i wont argue you played pretty stupid near the end of the fight vs dante but you did good overall. you just need more exp in the tourney environment of 012 cuz you play different when your under pressure xD

Hollowed told me he wasn't feeling up to it for the challenge this tuesday and turns out i'm going to be working that day but not all day though. Do you guys mind a ft3? 2v2 Clavier and whoever wants to join? Tell me when the best time to do the challenge and if it's after work for me we can make it a ft5. I don't want it to be too late because I have school the next day and i want to go to bed at a decent time since i'll be working before the challenge and I will be tired.
