Hello everyone and welcome to another thread that's going to die off in 2 days.
On occasion (and by "occasion" I mean "once in a full blue moon") I'll get the urge to go into the replay editor and create music videos as a tribute to this silly, broken game that we call Dissidia.
A long long time ago, before I managed to wander into the mystical world of Ad-Hoc party I used to be a replay editor constantly going in and editing replay after replay after replay. It's probably thanks to that previous experience that I feel confident enough to even attempt projects like these in the first place. Though, I'm still learning on how Sony Vegas works and looking into other video editing software.
I would like to hear your opinions to help me improve.
Anyway, let's get this show on the road:

Contentio Aeterna 004 Alacrity Trailer
Music: Mass Destruction (Persona 3)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eRRRUrTfso
This project I undertook on a complete whim. I actually am not too happy with out this turned out. Took me a while to complete because I was completely lazy stumped at what I should do on the latter part of the song. I think it focuses too much on the characters themselves rather than the fact that...y'know...there's a tournament going on.
I did finally learn one thing from this trailer though.
I'm picking shorter songs from now on.
Also Gabranth, Shantotto, and Gilgamesh got the short end of the stick here.
NeroMD vs Skye First to Ten Trailer
Music: Devils Never Cry
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYrVRhz29ps
Requested by NeroMD after we both agreed to do a first to ten. Though we never got around to it until two months later after the trailer was posted.
My little group of friends that I used to play nearly exclusively with knows just how much Nero and I hate each other wish for the other's death you're a faggot nero bicker. Everyone including Nero and I thought a FT10 would be interesting to watch. Unfortunately, by the time we got around to it Nero was already disinterested with the game and I was sort of distraught about something coming up in my life. Would like to give that FT10 another go one day with both of us actually giving our all.
Anyway, about the trailer. I really do like how it turned out. It's also the fastest I've ever got a trailer up (only took two days). Though I do feel a bit bad that I created a trailer about myself, it feels kinda narcissistic.
Scrapped Dissidia Music Video
Music: Take me Away - Globus
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GW2zzksInuU
Ahh...This music video. I had great hopes for this one but in the end it all fell short. I ended up hitting a pretty nasty block with this video and in the end I just scrapped it. This video was supposed to be many things celebrating certain milestones with my Youtube channel (and Duodecim's release).
This video was made using replays from the first Dissidia.
Maybe one day I'll take this project up again, but for now that seems highly unlikely.
Dissidia: Final Fantasy Tribute - Conflict
Music: Gensokyo Millenium ~ History of the Moon
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRubV3lHLHc
This was my -VERY- first attempt at a music video for a replay editing contest I participated ages ago. I liked the parts that actually dealt with the replay editor rather than scenes I just ripped from other games.
Don't really like it now but was proud of it before since it's something that wasn't just a standard replay edit.
