max stats?

curious question, does anyone know what the maximum are for the stats and how close characters can get to that maxium

for example can terra (if shes leveled with ample magic+2) ever reach the max magic stat ifnot whats the closest

I've completed a perfect stats file in FFVI some years ago, and I refered myself to this faq: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/file/562865/42631

You'll get all the information you need with it, be it solutions vs bosses, how to keep your levels as low as possible until you get better espers as well as the stats' caps. I can already tell you that it's a good idea to boost your magic power up to 128 if your goal is to have a perfect caster. However, it might be a good idea to refer yourself to the GBA version of this FAQ if you're playing it on the Advance version because of the new summons such as Diabolos, who totally kicks Bahamut's butt stat-boosting wise ^^

The pleasure's mine ^^ I really had a lot of fun completing that challenge, I recommend you beat the game once if you still haven't to get used to the game's mechanics, though it is absolutely possible to succeed in completing it on your first playthrough, though it might require a little bit more resets and such =)

Oh and just in case you have the advance version, there's a glitch that allows extremely easy max stats. All you have to do is quick save. After that start a new game and play until you reach the point where the character you want to max stats with is added to the party. (it's best used with savestates on emulators) Then die. It will say game over, blah blah, and then you play from where you quicksaved. You will have the Same level as on the "new game" but same stats and same place as the aforementioned quicksaved/regular game data.
