Yes... I admit it! I'm am 100% Anti WoW (World of Warcraft)!! I'm against it so much, that I wish to destroy it completely!
I'd rather spend my time playing GW or, more importantly, Dissidia than that excuse for a waste-of-money...
To me it's a spin off series of Warcraft... And yes, I accept that others play that disease for a game, but I will not sink as low as you are (my apologizes for insulting anyone, but I strongly detest the game)... >.>

What has the game done to you? Has it killed your parents? Just ignore it, as it is not worth it to hate a game. There's nothing you can do, and it's not like it's trying to force you to play it.
But everyone... including my brother (some deity out there save his soul) at my school who is a gamer loves the game!!! Y_Y
i've got friends who were totally into the game before. they invited me to join but i always said no. partly due to no interest, another factor is that my cash pool will never sustain

Played it for about a year. Got top 1 paladin on my server than subsquently sold it for a profit *not on time wise just on what I spent to run it past year (made about 300 dollars of it)*. Ehh it was decent while it lasted... Only thing I found remotely enjoyable was PvPing and I was amongst the best on the server for that =/ There really isn't much competition when you team with the best players and find a bunch of scrubs *that game is 99% nub with 10% nubs actually trying REALLY hard*.
----
So out of a MMO scale... I'll give it a 5/10. You don't need to play it but by all means it's not the worse *god for bid Runescape1*. I've played a decent amount of MMO's to back this up.
Personally I go on Game binges lol. I play a game for a while then completely quit after I've had my fill. *I feel it might be the same for Dissidia if I can't find new and better competition... which I haven't yet with Adhoc :3*
So case in point. WoW is going to be like all other MMO's... appeal to the masses and milk in like any other cash cow of the genre. *Damn you nexon >.>*
----
Also there's no point in raging about this game... at best I would say the reason your brother plays it often is because he's part of the 99% scrubs *they can't reach endgame after a month and subsequently spend countless weeks in 1 particular dungeon*. There is a trick to getting through WoW on speed bases at end game and basically it gets boring fast since you breeze through the entire content in 1-2 weeks flat. *maybe a month if it's big*
*wall of text... TL;DR*
Well, he's played for two days and he's stopped for now...
how can u play MMO D: sooooooo boring

Reminds me of the time I was 100% Anti-SFIV. That ended well. (:
I'll make fun of you for playing WoW, but in all honesty, I have nothing against it.

I played WoW.
It USED to be good, when it first came out.
Now Blizzard is just making asses of themselves with it.The two expansions are garbage, and the only thing really worth playing the game for is PvP.But WoW is far from being a terrible game, annoyingly addicting, but fun to troll serious players.
FF XI isnt that bad of a game, its actually really fun,the only BS thing about the game is the leveling, how you lose exp. ugh.
But I wait exictedly for XVI.

I remembered being really excited about this when some of my friends who were beta testers showed me what the game was like, but when I heard about the subscription fee, I immediately said forget it. Now as time passes, it seems like everyone has an account. I still don't really understand the hype aside from the fact that everyone seems to play on it so it's more of a social thing.
This is the only other thing I have to go by:
http://www.cracked.com/article_16782_6-ways-world-warcraft-worse-than-real-life.html
Is this more or less accurate?
Depends on what you are playing the game for. If you are playing for raiding, then joining top raiding guilds, getting good gear, being skilled etc is what you will need. If you are playing for PvPing, then you still need decent gear, but generally its really fun.
I personally, cant touch WoW anymore, I played for the aspects of raiding, and I was good, but you have to deal with Guild Drama, and all this other BS with people who take the game a bit too seriously.
Honestly, most people have missed the good days, where WoW was decent, BUT from what I hear the next expansion, is going to have you go back to the very first game, so you still have a chance to maybe enjoy the game.
I still say trolling the game is fun though. 28 silver, no more no less. =D

MMOs are pretty fun with other people, actually . Though they're a huge waste of time and get extremely addictive which is never a good thing . <_<
And the whole paying monthly thing is total buuuuuullll .
I'll agree with you, except that they are a waist of time

Wait so there pulling a diablo thing with hell mode etc O.o
THIS PICTURE IS NOW RELEVANT!!!

My thoughts on that possible rumor is that it was made up like EVERYTHING ELSE. However if it is true Blizz just got lazy and is going to milk the WoW community for nostalgia now... yeah I think there too money hungry =/
PvP was indeed slightly interesting but raiding bore me... I literally only raided half asses and still managed to be top healer *Spam flash of light on tank and read manga*. When I did try for raids it was only for stuff that actually required to think but all the new bosses are straight forward tank and spank... thank god I quit before the recent update *what's it called? no idea(talking about the sub section after LK)*

They are changing Azeroth, they are going to destroy everything, but you get to replay the area in a way.(oh and this isnt a rumor)
I think its a great idea, WoW went to shit the moment BC came out.
And WoW will never end. Trust me.
It has nothing to do with nostaligia, its because they know the first part of WoW was the best, and that if they go back people will come back to the game.(of course its a money grab, but hey Im fine with it, WoW is a giant pile of crap atm)
About raiding: I agree, raiding is shit now. But like I said, it was hard and fun back when WoW first came out.

WoW Isn't expensive. In case you don't realize it, no one is forcing the player to play non-stop
I myself play the game. Is it good? Yes, very. Is it too addictive? No, I keep a ton of breaks, so that the game doesn't get boring and I don't have to pay all the time.
for me, 15e/month is not much. And I'm not rich, mind you :P

You rage about WoW, yet you give no adequate reasons for it.
But everyone... including my brother (some deity out there save his soul) at my school who is a gamer loves the game!!! Y_Y
Maybe its because you don't want to go with the crowd, and wanna be so special or smth? The game is great, none other game has actually managed to deliver so much fun to me for the duration of... hm... 3 years, I suppose.
another factor is that my cash pool will never sustain
Just lol.

You don't see fun? Maybe its because you haven't joined a guild? Haven't been to raids? Haven't pvped alongside your friends, pwning in BGs?
I am a huge fan of Warcraft universe, and I was more than excited to see this universe through the eyes of my own character.
I agree, WoW is one of the worst games ever thought of.
Care to supply some reasoning behind this statement, sir?

I have to say. Wow was interesting up till I hit endgame =/ after being 70 for the longest time ever I got bored to tears. Finally the 80 patch comes out and I maintain #1 Holydin on the server blasting 10k hps for 5 minutes with little mana worries.
*Maxed magic crit (52% if that was the cap... if not I had 55% at some points)+ the 60% mana return on crit + 30k mana pool in raid*
At endgame so early in the 80s I was clearing through PVP arena's getting 1800 with a rogue in blues and starter 80 purples *lol at the groups not being able to kill someone who just kept getting 17k crit heals every second :3*
So yeah... Wow is decent if you can find a purpose in it. When you hit endgame it becomes so... monotonous. Doing the same dungeons every week... running through 40+ arena matches on days given, Running heroics for friends *I was so buffed in heals and armor points that I actually tanked most 5 man heroics (any that didn't require too much stun locking I was fine taking hits)*
But yeah... so I would like to see what you find really fun for 3 years straight in WoW. I do agree it has a certain taste to it people don't like.
----
I ran a Holy Paladin Human on a PVE realm *KhazModan* before I sold the account for roughly 450 dollars *this was before the release of the expansion to the dungeons after the triple dragon runs... god I can't remember name XD*

Suppi, man, the key to my 3 year - lasting fun in WoW is that I have always been playing on RP servers. :) Simple as that.

Sheesh RP server was weird with a group of my friends :3
all we did was run around as Taurans and use /me chews grass. *can't remember the command for it but it was something like that*
But yeah... I never actually had to pay for my subscriptions to boot lol. I was loaded in gold and controlled a heavy portion of the auction house *the trading of high level gems from end game dungeons*.
I bought low sold high. And sold gold to guildies in payment of subscription cards lol. I never did like waisting gold though and such never bothered to buy one of those 20k gold mounts *I was tempted to buy one but considering it would have killed half my gold supply I decided not to*

I also do not like that. Almost 1/2 of the students of the whole campus plays that! What's with it? I can just see it as a waste of money (they play in computer shops) and waste of time.
The gameplay for me is pretty boring.. >_>
But then again, I guess all of us just have different tastes. It's non of my business anyway. xD

TBH. I think i'd like it, but I don't want anything to do with it because I know it will suck me in and i'll be hooked.
