SE did not need to mega buff it. Essentially, it gave Exdeath an offensive game (which is good) but it's way to strong.
The moves is wickedly fast and it's actually ridiculous in some ways. Exdeath can actually outstall your EXmode.
My Bartz could not land Goblin Punch on him. Freaking Goblin punch for god sakes.
Don't get me started on his high guard cancels.
It makes fighting him now much harder.

I've never really had a complaint about the buffs on Exdeath's teleport...except that I still think that it should let the player control the destination pick a little more.

if they added that along with guard staggering (which it has atm) then exdeath would be beyond broken

What's so broken about it? It's pretty obvious when it approaches you. Just move out of the way of the destination circle.

Broken...? Not really...just giving him the chance to choose a direction isn't very broken...it wouldn't really change his meta-game at all. Unless of course you're very prone to getting hit by this attack in the first place...but if you are...isn't that kind of your fault...? :confused:

Anyone who says it's broken clearly cannot press R+X to dodge when he appears (Unless if it's ceiling/wall rape, but you shouldn't be there in the first place). It should stagger. You can see, although barely, ExDeath *rushing* to the circle chasing you; blocking something THAT fast should do more than stagger someone, but alas, it's a fantasy game.

I have a quest for any/all of you. Someone provide me a vid of RP being even a 'great' attack, let alone 'broken.' I've never seen the benefit to using it, nevermind overusing it, or spamming it. I have it, just in case, but still. Someone post a video of why it's all of a sudden such a great move.
I havent either, but people keep telling me it makes him broken, and its starting to annoy me

I don't think it's the offensive abilities of RP on its face that make it great and make it piss people off, it's the following:
- His ability to cancel it into High Guard and begin the mindfuck that is High Guard Cancelling.
- His ability to get the fuck away from you if he knows you're going to do something troublesome (i.e. Goblin Punch).
- The ability to put Exdeath in your face when you want him far away, or the ability to put him far away when you want to get close to him.
It helps cement his trademark perfect defense. It further allows him to control the flow of battle by putting him where he wants to be, punishing turtling players trying to rip off his style, and screwing with your head to make you more likely to get countered. The buffs it got in the NA release went and removed all the holes it had. It can't be blocked anymore, and it allows him to cover sufficient ground.
THe move isn't broken at all. It's good but not broken. Also I think some people are underestimating it's potential, simply dodging won't work.
If you teleported to the position of your opponent and they dodge, you can actually cancel into another RP and teleport into their next position. Coupled with the fact that if you cancel into a guard the attack properties apply and that the move cause stun on guards AND BP attacks, this move is a serious offensive tool.
This is a great move and it should be used often (Not spammed) but it is NOT broken. The damage it does is too little to be abused(Although with counter attack you'll get crits often).

Seems pretty balanced if you ask me. Not hard to avoid, and it's not faster than Omni Air Dashing, so there is nothing godly about it.

This. Does Exdeath really need this? Really now, Exdeath is already a deadly character, he doesn't need it to cause stagger, avoid a wide variety of moves and cancel his guard. It just makes playing him 10X more annoying.

RP is just nice is all. Hell, the only time you should hit with it at all is to interrupt attacks.

RP allows ExDeath an offensive/aggressive game that can be mixed around with his defensive play, obviously. It's not broken at all, and can be countered, but can be difficult. Here's a video to boot:

Even if it is, it persists. Exdeath can't go through it to escape unless he RPs or dodges.
