Letīs talk a little bit about strategy, shall we?
Considering 4x4 matches and no guest characters, which are the teams you guys use for multiplayer?

In tourneys, I like to keep it simple.
2 Ninjas(no weapons)
2 Wizardiators

But when Iīm having my fun, I like to use a very different team:
4 Thiefs(equipping guns and Art of War)

I get so many laughs with this team...

No guests, dude.
And that Ninja/Samurai probably wouldnīt work because Draw Out/Iaido depends on magic attack.
Summoners are the second slowest class in the game, so if you like Summons, Iīd highly advise you to try a Priest(or Wizard, which is stronger but a bit slower) with Summon, like your first character. Itīs one hell of a support character, with Wall, Raise and Golem.
And if you want to use Talk Skill, go for a Wizard, seriously.

One time I had a team of four Orators. That was fun times. d00ds were turning to the dark side like nobody's business.

1 Dark Knight/Chemist (Faith 10)
1 Dark Knight/Samurai (Faith 10)
2 Ninja/Monk (Faith 10)

Which reminds me...I have to finish making this team.

Now imagine 4 Wizardiators and you get a banned ability...lol

@Kirby: In multiplayer matches, guest characters(including Ramza) are not allowed. But heīs godly, I agree with you.

mm? I thought that one only works if you're playing against a person that has Faith to begin with. o.o

Talk Skillīs formula only involves MA. No faith from both parts.
Itīs usually:

(skill constant) + MA = hit%
In Enticeīs case:

20 + MA = hit%

A Wizard can have somewhere between 43~51% of taking an opponent to his side every turn and the only defense against it is Ribbon(female exclusive and a single copy in the game) and Finger Guard, which wastes the Reaction Skill slot and will only diminish the percentage by around 15%.
Considering that 5 x 3 is one hell of an advantage, you get +-50% of chance to end a match every single turn.
Even if it only had 5% hit-chance, itīs still worth the risk.

Ehhh? No. You can get as many ribbons as you want by either farming monsters or doing the team missions (level 90-100). Plus Entice/Invitation doesn't work in Multiplayer...

Sorry, I forgot to explain that those were rules used in general for hacked original FFT versus battles.
But youīre right, nonetheless.

Ramza is broken in the same way as Orlandeau is broken. Overpowered character should stay as far away from tourneys as possible.

Personally Ramza is just as broken as a default character once you eliminate his expanded skills and growth. If you don't believe me...let me hit you with my male Dark Knight a couple times. :d

My ideal team is 2 dark knights/fundaments and 1 mime and one dragoon

its been a while since i played my FFT but i remember havin a white mage/samurai decked out with as much MA dmg as i could get and buffin my team up as soon as the battle began. My 4 man team would have to consist of White Mage with Samurai sub, Ninja with Geo sub, Orator with Time sub (mostly for haste to add to the Iaido draw out buff if you dont have the katana to grant haste) and a Knight with any sub i needed depending on the opposing team i fight. Plus i like the set up of Mantles with Shirahadori and as a Knight with a shield, mantle, and shirahadori he usually has a dodge chance of 95% on melee. If I can find my FFT ill post the team I had up at the last battle.:D
