Not sure if this has been said before, but I discovered this just now and wanted to share it. (I've been lurking for a while so may as well use the opportunity to register)
When using the EXP trick with x5 bonus, plus all chocobo accessories and lvl 100 opponent, after you finish the battle, return to the battle menu and immediately shutdown your psp. (hard shutdown by holding power button for 3 secs).
edit: you don't have to completely shutdown, you can just quit the game by using the home button and returning to the XMB. The main thing is not to do anything else to further save your game.
When you turn your psp back on, the levels you gained as well as summons and breaks will be the same as after the battle but the next exp bonus will be back on x5. Even though you only get magic pot for 2 fights, you can still gain lots of exp by doing hp attacks and using other summons like carbuncle, omega, odin, ultimate weapon etc.
