Inward chaos

Took out Chaos last night with Sephiroth. Octaslash has a sick range and at one point, Chaos is sure to get hit. I just spammed that and blocked attacks for the most part. Chaos's HP attacks are hard to dodge though.

yea for some reason in the US version chaos is cake with sephiroth it seems like he will allways dodge into octaslashs' last hit i just abuse him with sudden cruelty > sudden cruelty>..... untill hes broken then octaslash

It was a shame at that time I didn't know of the infinite combo.


Well, Godspeed->Octaslash worked pretty well anyway.

Using Emperor is a sure win too.
But block and dodge helps a lot not just to Empy but to all characters.

Yes it can be blocked (use the tap block). Those are BRV attacks. The last ball is an HP attack and unblockable.

But to block that BRV fire balls, you have to position yourself diagonally from Chaos. I came in this position because I jumped when I saw circles of fire is coming.
You cannot block the fire balls if it hits your feet. Somewhat like Flood of Terra. So you need an angle for the fire balls to hit in your face and not in your feet.
Then dodge your way out when the big fire ball(HP attack) is coming.

As from my experience, this is the only way to escape Scarlet Rain. If the block fails, surely you will eat a big fire ball.

Another thing, I used tap block here.:) Banging the R-button.
