A Tag After 1 Year

I was crazy about graphic design when I was in the 7th grade; now not much. But I attempted to make a tag with the remaining stock I have left and here's what I got. Comments and constructive criticism much appreciated ;)

So my style is mostly black and white (I hate colouring with a passion :3) and a freak with crack textures.

So yeah.

The 4th one is an abstract. That was the first time I used a texture as a focus, and the tag was a play with gradients, depth and color. It serves no meaning though. I guess you can call it Darkness In Beauty? I don't know XD

Your new one looks like a stock with.. balls. In black and white. What are those balls, may I ask?

You're using B&W gradients with color blending to make your sigs black and white, is that right? If so, and you're doing that simply because you don't like having to deal with color, you can always set the B&W gradient to 60% on color blending, and then put another gradient over it with 60% on another blending filter. I personally like to use it with the Orange/Blue gradient on screen.

Anyway I like the (from the old ones) 1st and 4th ones, the 2nd and 3rd ones look really flat.

Not that I have signatures with awesome depth, but they just look really.. um.. dead. Though the 3rd one is really colourful.

They're nothing, really. I don't have the mind that I had 2 years ago :>

But the first was working with creative lighting, hence the ray-like lights on the sides of her hood. I regretted playing too much with the C4D until I messed flow up on left, but I think I did well in depth and smudges.

2nd was the hardest for me to make. It involved a heck (in a hundred, iirc) lot of layers and a ton of 1-pixel smudging to attain the paint-like feeling of the tag. It may look flat, but I got the effect that I wanted. But really, it serves no real meaning like all the other tags.

3rd, I focused almost entirely on trying to attain a good flow and depth with help of lighting. This is probably the tag that I was proud of in terms of colours.

4th is what I said above.

I like the second one and the fourth one, although reading what you said, I think that your 2nd one flows slightly better than your 4th one. I don't really have criticism though, since they're all pretty awesome.

And I found a God Of War tag I made two years ago. Still my favourite out of any other that I made. Found it on one of the old graphic forums that I went to frequently.

Sorry, not feeling the Terra one, but I love the God of War one. The cracks in the Terra one just seem so out of place, and, although I don't THINK it's intended to be the focal point, the cracks just seem to draw my attention more than Terra does. :(
