Does anybody seem to notice that sneak attack doesnt work on SA?? i mean, yeah sneak activates but zidane only crits for TWO hits.. Is this some sort of bug?? Please enlighten me, thank you..

Sneak attack only activates when you attack from behind. So if you attack from the front, of course it won't activate. Try forward dodging and SA or dodge behind them while in the air.

Sneak Attack also only gives about +50% crit chance to the attack when it's activated... So it may not turn all hits into crits if it's not stacked with another critical ability (or EX mode or guard stagger)

Sneak attack isn't 100% On some fights you land all of your hits as crits as some you won't.

Riposte/ex critical boost is the only ability that grants 100% Crit

maybe im just unlucky.. but i find it unusual, only the first 2 hits crits.. And yeah, i am attacking from BEHIND

Swift attack's second part *and tempest for that part* NEVER Activates sneak. Zidane makes you face him :P

oh dammit.. now that you mention it, SA's second phase of attack makes the opponent face him.. Thanks for the info..

(Having doubts about tempest, opponent's back is still facing Zidane while at the second phase of the attack..)

Nearly all of Zidanes HP chain attcks to MT the phase before Meo it turns the opponet to face you. then i believe Meo can have Sneak attck crits cause of its hit box has some from behind the opponet.
Dont quote me on that though

I think tempest still does use sneak attack on the last 2 hits...but I think I did notice that it didn't for quick attack. Meo twister definitley activate sneak attack though.

The second part of Swift attack makes the opponent face Zidane so Sneak literally deactivates at the second part of Swift attack.

thats already been said my friend, but thanks for your concern

Anyway, now i just use SA to catch targets off-guard rather than combo-extensions like what i used to do..
