why do i keep getting logged out when i play games?

i dunno if anyone else has been having this problem but its really annoying

pretty much whats happening is that when i play a game and it takes a while (like tetris) after i finish the game i cant submit my score because for some reason i get logged out and it says i was playing under guest or something

also in general when someone gives me a link to the thread i have to log in again even though im already logged in

i dont get why does anyone know?

Well its normally because youve been playing itt for so long that you logged off automatically

but why would that affect me when im playing a game
how else am i supposed to beat high scores like the ones that exist in tetris if i cant have time

also it really logs me out like after 5-10 minutes max, i dont think thats normal

It happens to me too.

The easiest thing to do is, when you're logging in, click "remember me" when you're about to log in, next to your information.

That stops any random log outs, well, it does for me anyway.

i click remember me and it STILL logs me out

thats why im pissed

i won the high score of 2 games but i couldnt record it cause i got logged out

I don't know then.

Maybe something about cookies.

Your computer might have a setting to delete cookies after X amount of minutes maybe....

Or something to do with inactivity on the site.

well the internet connecten can be out of reach sometimes or something

try opening two windows... play on the other one, and leave the other... before saving, try logging in using the left out window.
