As/against Exdeath.

Anyway. I've tried to use the EMPRAH against CPU Exdeaths, easy as hell. But, on the other side, if I use Exdeath, i've noticed that like only the red Flare can hit him. Other attacks have patterns too predictable to be a danger to him. I love Omni Block. And if he can't escape, he can just teleport and FEEL THE VOID'd your face. Because i have the Emperor as my second, i need halp.

Also, why NO ONE avoid the blue Flare->Thunder Crest->Bombard combination?

ExDeath and Emperor are actually quite an even match. ExDeath's the only character you should play differently againest (Aswell as Emperor and Gabranth.)

And what Blue Flare -> Thunder Crest -> Bombard combination? Land Mines do much more damage unless you got Air Mines out.

Firstly: Ignore Heaven's Lament's advise on Light Crest -> Flare. Againest a Human ExDeath, that WILL NOT WORK. (Or at least one that knows about Double Guarding.)

Secondly: Starfall is your friend. I don't know if ExDeath can High/All Guard Bombard, but this might be useful againest him aswell.

Starfall isn't meant to be used as an attack: Wait for ExDeath to get close enough, and then Point Blank Red Flare.

If ExDeath casts Grand Cross: Dodge Cancel out of Starfall, Omni Air Dash and Attack him while he's still using it.

If ExDeath casts Delta Attack: Dodge Cancel out of Starfall again. This timehowever you're aiming slightly for the side. ExDeath has to be close. HOWEVER depending if you feel the distance is far enough, just move back from Delta Attack whilst casting Starfall. Otherwise, again, it's a free Attack

If ExDeath uses Almagest: Laugh. I mean stop using Starfall and Red Flare. If you're close to the ground: Thunder Crest.

If ExDeath uses Reverse Polarity: Just move diagonally backwards whilst casting Starfall. Enough said. ExDeath can't keep up if you keep changing your direction per Reverse Polarity.

If ExDeath uses Vacuum Wave: Again, just move sidewards and continue the casting of Starfall.

Emperor has a damned advantage over ExDeath if using this strategy. This is the only fight you ever take to the air. Not because ExDeath has an advantage, but because Starfall actually has one of the best uses againest the tree. Whetever it's for an attack or for THE Attack is up to the ExDeath Player.
