I've had spam before. It's just really low quality ham with pellets of jelly in it, the jelly somehow actually being fat Dx

This is now a Corned Beef thread :3

I put more mustard on my corned beef :3
http://www.sogoodblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/spam_musubi.jpg
Also yeah... Don't eat it raw :3
Also if you're talking about this... (http://www.kingsfoods.com/images/products/luncheon_meat_01.jpg) or the other type where it's round... luncheon meat just sucks imo... nothing compared to SPAM!!!

I love how I made a topic that is so on topic if you start spamming off topic XD TIME PARADOX!!!

O.o you srsly haven't seen that... it's like a staple of Hawaii :O
It's like eating spam with rice on the go =p
I like to fry my spam till it gets nice and crunchy *I cut it REALLY thin so it's like bacon ;3* not too crunchy or thin or it will burn fast DX

-----
Cut spam
place on cookie sheet
glaze with Teriyaki
Cook on 250 for 10 minutes
re glaze
Cook till brown and good =p

-
Get some good rice *sushi rice or otherwise*
nori *seaweed*
a mold
-
Put nori
put rice
use furikake (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furikake) and put some on top of rice
place spam on top
wrap up the nori around it
-
wrap it up or eat it right away which ever you prefer
it's so simple to make... practically the only thing I ever make...
or you can just fry it,spam, on a skillet till browned and skip the whole baking process *but it isn't as soft :3*

Hmm ok that actually doesn't sound too bad. I think I just associate sushi with raw meats. And raw spam on sushi is.. x_x Cooked sounds alright. XD

umm... the sushi I get is all raw...
Raw shrimp, raw fish eggs, raw tuna, raw fish slices of all variety, raw eel... anything else?

Aevitas

Raw whale, raw horse? It exists. :3

I have seen cooked sushi though, but only in the West, and by Japan's standards, it's not real sushi. For them, pretty much the only real sushi is nigiri and those really small ones with seaweed wrapped on the outside with small pieces of raw salmon, tuna, or cucumber inside. All those California rolls, Dynamite rolls, Rick rolls, are all lies.

than you are only eating the low quality stuff -_-

good sushi has fried or baked fish, with some other toppings to make it a mix of hot and cold and stuff

ehh depends really.
http://www.atlantasushibar.com/files/attach/images/87/088/IMG_9325.jpg
It's up to you what type of raw fish you eat but just look at that plating :3 that and the freshness of the fish is probably the only thing that separates high and low class sushi... maybe the sauce too.
Normally I don't eat sashimi =p I prefer these

The unagi (http://www.sushiencyclopedia.com/sushi_menu/eel_sushi.html),<--- link, is cooked *eel* and that's a basic over view of it... and like it says... it's rare to come by a good Unagi that isn't expensive =/ Cheap unagi just isn't worth it half the time but ehh if I find a good restaurant with it I wouldn't mind eating some if it doesn't kill wallet :3

anago is salt water eel, which is often eaten raw, but doesnt taste nearly as good

Unagi needs an art of preparing eel which requires much greater skills than a normal sushi chef... it was really never considered sushi but loh and behold most sushi places have it =p

the sushi I eat is never raw =P

Kite

FUN FACT!!!
Spam is just separated Pork Shoulder *the shoulder is very bony so it's not normally sold as a slab of meat but a can*.
Also note there is seasoning added to the shredded Shoulder meat :3
There is nothing disturbing in that can of spam... *omnomnomnom*
