How do these work exactly? I'm talking about the boostes.

Could someone tell me how all the "chance" boosters that depend on loss, victory, win, etc work?

Thanks in advance.

You know how when your Brave is higher than their HP the Brave turns blue? That's a 'Victory Chance.' Means you can one shot them with an HP attack.

Near Loss I believe is the opposite. It either means when your opponent has Blue Brave, or when you're near death (AKA your health is flashing red)
If I wasn't converting replays right now, I'd check for you

When your HP is red, thatīs Near Death.
Near Loss is the exact opposite of Victory Chance(as in your opponent has blue-ish Brave, which means enough to kill you)

Aha, thank you very much.

Near loss is related to the catnip effect, as opposed to near death, which is related to back to the wall.

Also, is it just me, but with Scott's amazing booster tips, it seems that most boosters are now in stone regardless of playstyle or build?

You nailed it, sir. Translating it to the abilities, itīs exactly that.

And I donīt know about Scottīs tips, but I have my own set of "set in stone" accessories.

I'm confused. I have two booster accesories for opponent and they are
1)opponent near death
2)opponent near loss
They both have similar meanings and I dont know which condition is easier to fulfill.
suggestions?

I think near death means 1 HP, and near loss is critical health. So near loss is a little easier to achieve, but they usually coincide since when someone hits 1 HP it's usually the first time they get to critical health I would think. It happens when someone gets wall slammed from an HP attack that would normally have killed them. And um, do you guys have defective eyes? :p The BRV point stat turns purple, not blue, when that player has enough bravery to kill off the other player with a single HP attack.

I believe...
Near Death = Critical HP (aka flashing HP)
Near Loss = Opponent has enough BRV to kill

I imagine Opponent Near Death works better if the character you're using constantly uses HP links (Zidane comes to mind), while Opponent Near Loss works better on characters that can rack up BRV easily and don't use HP attacks as often (Squall, for example).

Near Death is when the opponent is flashing red due to low health.
Near loss is when your BRV is flashing blue since you need to land one HP attack to kill.

Which to go with depends on your playstyle. If you're the kind that tends to break your opponent until all you need is one attack to finish them off, then use near loss.

If you're the kind that constantly uses HP attacks, than Near Death is good. Near Loss will also work.

Is it just me or a Déjā vu? This is what Kayarine said. :D
