Alrighty, the game just came out earlier today, and I was happy to pick it up. I played it for a majority of the night, and I loved every minute of it.

There's plenty of little events that have you using Layle's magic to do different things, eg shoot down flying monsters as you free-fall through sky, stop pursuers from attacking your chocobo wagon while you're on the run, and just normal fights that have you picking up anything, and then blasting it at your enemies.

I killed a Skeleton by pulling its head off, and then shooting it at him. I also picked up a cactus, threw it at a Killer Hound, and then while it was stunned I picked it up, and threw it into another cactus.

The style of the game is much more appealing than the cutesy style of the previous titles, and even the music is catchy.

I say that if you have a Wii, you need to get this game. It's adventure style just like a Zelda, but there are very few games that let you defeat your opponents by beating them over the head with their brothers.

I'd recommend picking it up, it's probably going to be one of those sleeper titles, but it's a lot of fun. In the span of the four hours I played it for, I did about five different minigame-type events, which it also scored me for at the end each event. I wonder if I can go back and do them, hmmm...

I don't blame you. Layle is a total BAMF.

Right now I'm at the beach, trying to help a girl win a butt-bumping competition using my gravity magic. XD This game's variety has me laughing sometimes.

its been so long since i played this game i whent through the storyline about 5 times on the same game. and i'm also sad cause i never was able to kill the malboro it never gave me enough time and items to throw at it. but this is a good game all i can say is beware the malboros and behemoth kings and the iron giants they hard to kill.
