However I think people will see the Kai division differently.
Look at who comes from Kai:
RDF, Schmeckie, Judah and myself all originated there.

and hopefully the next tournaments in Kai will pull some AHP people to get a Kai adaptor as well. :)

A standard Kai adapter is 20$ and that includes shipping. Plus its used to play all the other PSP game fro multiplayer.

Essentially, its 20$ vs 300$+ and the lag isn't THAT bad. The only reason I have a bad connection with people is usually because
a) their computer is wirelessly connected to their router
b) they live in Canada or other side of the country. LOTS of Canadians have Kai.

get salty had a far shorter time limit for each round (4 days if im correct) whereas shadow strike had a week to a week and a half for rounds because some people cannot play on weekdays and thus we had to extend the time

for this reason it makes perfect sense that get salty would end sooner because the rounds would be done sooner due to shorter times per round

also as this is xlink kai, we also ran into the trouble aof some people not being able to connect to others (because it happens and its no ones fault) so for that reason we ALSO had to extend the time limit even further to see if we could fix the problem.

so for that reason i would really appreciate it if people could STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT the length of this tourney since all the participants agreed to the 1 week to a week and a half time limit per round same as how all participants in get salty agreed to the 4 day time limit per round

I explained thousands of time that if some people cannot connect to each other, it is due to portforwarding.

Interesting to see that many fellows never had any problems to connect to others as soon as they portforwarded. Let us notify Robo, Xffixblmx, Rdf, KingofZeal, Judah, Hella Bright, Mufalmar...among others.

Guess my crusade is definitely pointless since it is deeply rooted in the mores now that Kai is lame, laggy and random.

You did not follow up their case hence you do not know how they managed to get connected. Rebellion could have figured the solution out and shared it with Shinso: this latter could have had both Upnp and 30000 enabled like Slayer0 which created a glitch in their connection. But I can guarantee you it did not pop out of magic, after a delay of many days.

If they still arise then Kai's servers are sick. It is easy to check their health: just get on Kai's main site, statistics. If the value is not 100% then they have a problem.

Well, you wrote in your other paragraph also as this is xlink kai, which basically means it is the poorest service among all. The "words" I "put in your mouth" were righteous then. They were not your own words but the thoughts people make as consequences to what you previously said: if "this is Xlinkkai and not our fault" then "Kai is lame and random".

Lol, I would not have gone to that far even if you could think I am extremely involved into all that stuff.
There is no point to help a software which needs not any defense after all: take it easy, Kai does not have to be reliant on Dissidia to breathe properly.

HB, dedication had nothing to do with it.
It was the 1-2 week deadline for each round that made it last so long. If you give people a huge deadline, they can and will wait til the last minute.

Keep rounds short and sweet.
