well, i'm just curious coz i always abuse jecht's Full Combo bonus during ex mode.. are his 2nd phase attacks blockable? I'm talking about his BRV attacks

Yes. 1st and 2nd phases are blockable. However the 3rd Phase staggers blocks and attacks with melee properties. If you stagger them on Phase 3, normally you just go right through them and not do any damage, HOWEVER after the stagger you can dodge cancel out of the third phase before completing it and start a new combo with all Riposte crits.

I call it a Stagger Combo.

anyway, that match was in kai so i was able to pull it off rather easily.. Thanks Wedge for the info :D :D :D

Im preeeetty sure he was talking about the stagger combo, but thanks anyways for the vid of a normal.. nothin special.. UJS.. i guess?

no its ok, you didnt sound harsh at all.. you were merely stating what you had in mind :) :) :)

Anyway, that was to show what I was trying to say, not what Wedge had just posted :D :D :D

I think not, coz the process would be like this:
Jecht Stream phase 1 (Will not hit the Opp)>Phase 2 (Still will not hit the Opp)>Phase 3 (Definite Hit)>DC>Full Jecht Stream

Although you could correct me if I'm wrong :D :D :D

Yeah, I misunderstood the concept. The idea is that if they decide to block, they get whacked with a full Jecht combo with Riposte. I got it. Wedge, you're still the Jecht Man, if it makes you feel any better.

LOL Yes. Yes it does make me feel better. I actually have a quite a few videos where I win due to performing a stagger combo.

REMEMBER: You can perform a Stagger Combo on melee attacks too. So capitalize kids! Its a clutch technique in EX mode. :)
