After waiting for an official confirmation on how many discs Final Fantasy XIII for the Xbox 360 will be, retailers have revealed how many the game will entail. While looking at Final Fantasy XIII information on GameFly, they detail the game as a three disc game.
Previously, it was speculated that the game would be around 3-4 discs, but that was solely based on how much a DVD could hold and the total space the game took up on the PS3 Blu-ray disc. With the game now spanning three discs for the Xbox 360, the real question that remains is how Square Enix will package the game. Will they stack the discs or will they put two discs in the game case and one in a sleeve? With the release date set for March 9th, we'll soon find out.

I remember when Final Fantasy was more than a one disc game but I'm not sure if I should be excited about this at all. I haven't really followed up much about the game due to it being released in Japan and because people don't understand what a 'spoiler' is. I'm not sure if the game is heavily based around cinema (quite like MGS4) and I'm hoping that its not. I'm looking forward to more gameplay than cutscenes.
I do know one thing, They better not stack the discs. I think that's the most stupidest thing ever. I won't have it on the 360, I know that much.. but stacking games is silly and considering how much games go for nowadays, I think they should invest a little money in packaging. It's only worth it considering the money + the time we've waited for this damn game.
