Introduction
Hello, to every members of this forum in this tutorial you will learn how to upload Higher qualities videos (Battle Replays) with reduce file size.
Here we go, the first you have to know if you have your AVI video ready. If you don’t know how to make Battle replay , please Enter Here (http://dissidiaforums.com/showthread.php?p=2907#post2907). Ok, now that you know or learn how to make Battle replay you need the following things for make that video reduce is higher size to upload.
Note: This tutorial you need to have a computer with faster processor since older PC take too much time in converted videos like Pentium 3 or lower.
Note2: Can someone can correct anything here that is bad in grammar and don't understand anything. I ask for help since I still learning ENGLISH ;)
Procedure
1-) Download the following program: XVID4PSP Version 5 (http://www.mediafire.com/?znwtntm4zyz) for PC use
2-) If you don’t have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Redistributable Package (Click Here) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=10CC340B-F857-4A14-83F5-25634C3BF043&displaylang=en), you need to download for Xvid4PSP to work.
3-) Install XVID4PSP Version 5 and/or Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Redistributable Package (if you don’t have it)
4-) After you install both of the program or XVID4PSP now with begin to convert that ridiculous large file AVI video to MP4 with almost the same quality
5-) First of all Connect to USB (PSP) and move your AVI Battle Replay (located at: X:\VIDEO\DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY\ ) to a Folder that you know where is located.
6-) Now Open the program
http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m402/RDF2050/Xvid4pspTuto1.png
7-) Select the following video settings: MP4 PSP AVC
8-) Click OPEN to Look up for your AVI video located in the folder you want to save it
http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m402/RDF2050/Xvid4pspTuto2.png
9-) After that the program automatically will load the video and display it.
http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m402/RDF2050/Xvid4pspTuto3.png
10-) Now is time for conversation keep in mind that in order for you to convert you need to have video codec such as ffdshow, MP4 or codec pack (K Lite Pack recommended)
11-) You will se how 256MB file with convert to its half or lower
12-) Select the place that you want to save for later upload in YouTube (I always choose DESKTOP)
http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m402/RDF2050/Xvid4pspTuto4.png
13-) When the conversion start, to distract yourselves from waiting PLAY DISSIDIA :) is a good way to skip waiting xD
http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m402/RDF2050/Xvid4pspTuto5.png
14-) The following little box is the progress of your conversation and you just have to wait until it finished.
Note: The AVI Files choose is 256MB of size and you will see how it will be reduce without losing so much quality to 100MB.
15-) After he conversation is complete now check out your MP4 video. You will see that there is no much different quality between AVI and MP4 but the size of MP4 will be so much smaller.
16-) Upload it to YouTube and Share with US :)
Reminder: Depending of the conversion you choose the smaller the file can be if you use MP4 AVC + x264 HQ2 your it will be much smaller.

You're in luck! They actually dropped the price of the PS3's a little bit ago, and now they released the PS3 Slim that has 120 gigs of space. Now it's a little easier to get a hold of one.

Since you only have one sound file, you won't be able to separate the sound effects from the music. You'll need to resave the replay in the Dissidia editor, and then encode it. In the windows movie maker you'll be able to add a second sound file.

Do you even install it??? Is your comp window xp??
EDIT: Damn, my WMM cannot detect mp4 files and have to do the reverse way(WMM before encoding), result in poor quality(poorer than just encoding)

Download Winrar 3.90 English 64bit (for 64bit OS's - x64) (http://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-391b1.exe)

The program is for converter only and does not mean for editing.

Question. I used the default settings and it works good except the action gets a bit choppy in the MP4 file. Fps is 29 in the output, exactly the same as in the original file so i don't know why it happens.
Is it possible to make it smoother? Even if it has to increase size a bit.

MP4 PSP AVC and x264 HQ Ultra.
Audio: AAC-LC ABR 128k.
The size gets reduced by a lot. From 230something to 64 i think so I don't mind it going up to the 100 mb range if it improves the flow of the video.
I don't know a lot about this stuff so the only description I can give you is that the encoded video seems like it is skipping some frames. Hence the "chopped" movements.
Edit: I tried uploading a replay on youtube without tampering with it. It was converted with standard quality from the psp and in my pc it looks ok but in youtube the quality gets considerably lower. Any ideas on how to fix that?

As far as know if you use the denoise/Sharpen settings with Brightness/constract
my settings are:
denoise/Sharpen = TV degrain2
Brightness/constract = Vivid MPEG2Fix
These two the two settings are the reason why my videos have more color xD

That might be happening due to codec pack issues. You might need to reinstall it and try again. If the program continue i will have to personally (In pc duh) assist you in that case.

Is their a way to make the file even smaller, or is youtube loading times always so long?
I did this and video plays really fast, also not long into the video, quick time or windows movie maker goes to a black screen. It also does in the converter's player.
The video still plays.
What did I do wrong?

Umm... Just wanted to point out that if you were to use the Xilisoft Ultimate Video Converter, you'd end up with a video about a 10th of the size of the one you started with. The process would only be different in that the start and end file types would be AVI.
If you're interested there's a trial somewhere on Cnet downloads: http://download.cnet.com/Xilisoft-Video-Converter-Platinum/3000-2194_4-10535116.html
Enjoy...

That's the problem is a trial. People here want to use something that is free. I personally have a converter which convert with a Pentium 4 PC at 40 FPS whereas this program (XVID4PSP) usually is 0-10 FPS. However, the program i am using cost 40 dollars. I will have to look for another free program.
Anyway Its still doing the something I guess I'll have play around the video convert thanks.
I tied it again today after I convert the video file and try to watch it the program stops working.

Great guide especially for Max Quality ones. Do you think that the file size goes down as much if i render it to MP4 with Sony Vegas or Pinnacle Studio ? Or would it still be good to first convert them with Xvid4Psp then take them into Movie editing ?
