EX Build vs EX Build

So I did some looking around and couldn't find this so I was wondering:

What makes an EX Build superior to another in a match, in the sense that one person gets most of the Ex Force compared to the other?

I haven't been quite able to figure it out, but I'm pretty sure its either force absorption or absorption range.

Anyone know for sure?

Oh let me add to what I said,

I have Heaven's Cloud equipped all the time with my Ex Builds, but sometimes it doesn't help all the way, but I don't have Close To You on. I have 2 EX Seeker Artifacts which are like Close To You, but I don't get Ex Force on Summoning.

Usually when its Ex Build vs EX Build, both have Heaven's Cloud on by the way

^thats not completely true

people tend to not equip it when they have gravitorb and vice versa, so thats one factor

the big difference is if you have ex seeker artifacts and shit, and if they both have that than it depends on who has a bigger multiplyer, but by then, both of you would be getting ex instantly anyway =/

I would say the person with the better Ex-Depletion would be the winner.

Whoever has biggest multiplier, assuming that both players have the same build. If you're actually looking for an optimum EX build try somewhere else.

Quite true. I believe in extreme fights involving great ex builds, the one who can win are those with ex depletion since to negate/help lessen the pressure that a full ex gauge/sustained ex mode can give to a player, is deplete their ex gauges. So having ex depletions will really help in winning those kind of combats. The ones who can easily benefit in depleting ex gauges using ex depletions are Zidane (free energy and Shift Break as they cannot be ex guarded. Also, free energy is an instant BOOM that is almost an ex depletion. :D), Terra (meltdown), Emperor (IMO but feel free to correct me), Bartz (GP wtf), OK(most of his attacks leads to Hp attacks but if your opponent has a full ex gauge... I don't know..)

The character suggestions are kinda like theories and please correct me if I'm wrong...
