Hmm... Aside from general clutterness, they're not that bad. Maybe you should try to make a bit simplier things. Sometimes I try to put too much stuff in my sigs and end up finding that they look better without so much stuff.

Keep trying new things, eventually you'll get better. :D (Look who's talking, I'm not any good either. =p)

I'm sorry for taking the time out of your life to critique my disgusting works. I don't seem to notice the clutter until after I make a png (in addition, four to five days). Simplicity is something I can't grasp really well. I can't even make simple shapes in any of my art programs.

I would like to point out that your work clearly defeats mine in every possible way! Yours over mine; a trillion fold!

Nice signature! I can see the flow definitely coming in. I'm not sure about the spiral line that moves up her body as I feel like it slightly disturbs the flow of the signature which for me would be moving towards the right with the C4d that you have in the background. If you were to add text I think that it would work absolutely fine with that signature. The colours used are nice and go with the render well .. maybe you could've experimented and tried a darker red? ^^

I know what you mean by cluttered and sharp. Maybe you could've tried making the render slightly bigger to have it fill up more of the signature, reduce the amount of C4Ds etc you have in there and work the background a little more. I think what conflicts the most is the large amount of colours used. They kind of cancel each other out and give the illusion that there are many things in there. I also see a music note? Is there a reason why that was included? ^^ You could try an overlay with that or even lower the opacity ~ As for the sharpness of the blade.. I would suggest feathering it slightly? I'm not sure.. but I have worked with that render before and I didn't like it because of the gunblade. D=

Verrry good.. I like these both! The second one is definitely my favorite because it reminds me of the book - where the wild things are. I like both and would only say to work with the renders.. a little. Not too much, don't want to overdo it ^^

Lastly! I shall say that these are great! You shouldn't put yourself down at all. Also, play a little more with curves and levels on your renders it can really make a difference! I hope to see you entering the S/AOTW! It'll be great to see some new comers posting in. The next competition isn't up for a few days though.. so yeah ~ Keep your work coming! I'll be happy to look at them if you'd like =]

Due to the recent attack of a virus on my computer, the requests (thank god.) have been delayed (so you won't throw up). I've just recently now fixed the issue after trying method after method and endless migraines. But I finally just covered my eyes and ran through the hell of bullets being shot at my soul. It's quite late right now, so I'll post up stuff for you (as well as Private Message you) the results, if you happen to throw up while glimpsing upon thy horribad works, I can redo and edit to your desire so the reduction of puke is limited.

Just take a look at my homemade paint-job (plus one random software I couldn't really wrap my head around... wasn't photoshop, that's for sure) and compare it to yours. The conclusion you've come to is obvious. :-)

Knocking You All Down. I had a real issue with that sudden darkness on the left side. Disgusting I know. But as requested. The flow was aimed for the top left corner, but I sort of recurved it around so the focal makes a backwards D shape, it's really distorted though.

Hey, that's quite good. =o I just find the red a bit random... You know, the render doesn't have much red. Perhaps you could try swapping the blue and red colors around, or just making the red part blue. I dunno, that's just what I would try to do. =]

Also, to quote Bartz:
"You are who you are! Believe in yourself!" Don't keep putting yourself down. Just because your works don't look like other people's doesn't mean they aren't good. Everyone has their own style~ (Although I admit I tend to think my works are a bit lacking, too. ><)

I put myself down because I do not like being "above" others. I'm sorry if it bothers you, is there an alternative way that I can continue to put myself down, yet not make it bug you? Also, if it makes you go through all the trouble to egotize yourself, I can stop if that is what you wish. I just won't mention any pessimistic comments. :3 (It's how I am though, I'm just very anti-ego.)

It doesn't have anything to do with ego... it's simply a complete inability to deal with positive remarks and pushing down yourself in order to push forward. I could sit here and analyse all day, but I would just feel like an ass. Please work on that signature for as long as it takes for you to feel satisfied. :-)

Do you know how to do the alternating signature type thing? If so, could you possibly make one with Patchy, The Prismrivers, and Wriggle (all from touhou)?
If you can't do the alternating signature, I could just take just one with all or just one (preferably The Prismrivers).
