vB Battle System.

Ok, many vB forums have the RPG battle System, i thought it'll be a nice addition to our Site.

A fun sorta game to play while barly anyone is online.

Basicly you attack other members in the forums, gain EXP and level up, Buy items, equipment and weapons.

Its fun and i know everyone would enjoy it, Also add more games to the Arcade :P

The 'Inferno RPG' that FinalFantasyForums has is the best example of this and it is very good.

While Inferno Technologies is now defunct, I've looked around a little and saw this:

I'm not very good with vBulletin, but I can easily tell that this is a bad thing.
However since Mass is a vBulletin user he can probably search for more info. It is a paid modification, but it will get us a LOT of new members.

To make those new members also post, a 20 or such post requirement should be enforced - unfortunately, as FFF has showed, some users will try to spam their way into the RPG. This can only be dealt with by deleting and infracting.

So yeah. It's all up to Mass.

It's a vb module so it shouldn't take ages to download and install. As long as we have active RPG Moderators that moderate the game, it'll be fine. Configuring the game would take a lot of time, though.

Well, I hope he reads this xD.

The RPG will get us alot of members, But might get us alot of Spammers. Mass might not add it seeing it is a paid. But i'm sure if people start donating towards more Things like this then we could become a great Forum.

I don't really like this suggestion. This forum is already revolving around a battle game, so implementing a battle system of its own doesn't make too much sense to me. I find this unnecessary.

Good point, But it is Way different than an Action Game like Dissidia, One thing you can battle anyone anytime unlike online dissidia where you either have to have A PS3 or a WiFi connector. Its a good forum game for those (Like me) who have neither. But, opinions is what matters.

A system like this would probably be a pain to install, upgrade, and manage. If the owner is willing to do it, though, then I support it.
