I'm sure most players who use precision jump have seen this before. You can delay your precision jump if you dash or quick move at the top of your jump instead of jumping again. If you then jump before you enter the falling animation, you will do a precision jump.

I don't think this will work with air dodges, I am pretty sure there is too much lag time on the animation. I am not nearly good enough to make use of this, but perfecting precision jump could be very useful.

I'll admit that the portion where you hopped between the lower and upper rail was really cool.

I noticed this before but I never knew what caused it; it just came to me as a surprise and I'm always filled with excitement when it happens. It's just like "WOAH!" Srsly.

Could be an interesting mindgaming tool, especially with characters who have long vertical reach. I want to try this out.

Can't believe I'm giving out a secret DX

Dashing and then jumping activates Precision Jump.

You don't need to jump before the dash to make this work *as far as I know anyways*

What suppi said.

Precision Jump could be done after: another Precision Jump, any dash, dodge, sucessful block, attacks that lead you into the air, or even walk out of a ledge (just before you fall).

Can you post a video of a precision jump after a dodge? I can't get that to work, do you need evasion boost on? I originally thought the dodge lag time was too long to allow a precision jump after it.

It looks like it works whenever you are in the falling animation, but aren't moving down (or up, if that can happen).

Yeah, me too SteZiL, me too.

I'll be looking into this myself. Haven't given it much thought before, and therefor never tried it either. Good to have people experimenting out there. :)

Yeah, a precision jump just needs to be done if you are about to fall, so jumping straight after walking off a ledge, sometimes dodges work, even some attacks
