I know.. I was in so much disbelief when I saw Tifa fight through arrows and what not. It was totally unfair on her D: Damnit Hayate D:<

I don't think she does.. D: I still believe that she should've lost D:< God damnit.. but I guess that battle was slightly overpowered.

Momiji looks like she'll be a great addition and out of all the fights so far I love Yuna vs. Kasumi. Srsly.

Incidentally, have you guys seen his work on Haloid, Icarus and parts of the new season of Red vs Blue?

You know, I used to really like Monty Oum's stuff, until I got a hold of my growing John Woo collection, and noticed that he lifted a lot of his choreography from Mr. Woo's movies. I mean, most of "Icarus" itself was the final scene from The Killer, with a few minor differences.

Not that that's entirely a bad thing, it can be really nice practice for an animator trying to make really smooth, flashy animations, but it's the "Monty's a choreographing genius!" stuff that bugs me.

It is cool how he puts together choreography from different mediums and makes them flow well enough, usually :P

According to one of Rooster Teeth's new Drunk Tanks, he uses motion capture to do the initial animating... XD I don't want to imagine what that would look like IRL with Monty doing it....
