counterattack
first strike
riposte
and cat nip as crit boosters

Is that overkill?

Is there any way i can guarantee for mines to crit when opponent is stuck in lightning crest?

i can post the rest of my setup if anyone is interested.

mines will always crit when your opponent is in your lightning crest if you have riposte ability on.

I've tried this, but mines were not critical as riposte was on...

You need to block first... then Thunder Crest THEN Mine. (Please stop calling it Lightning Crest as Light Crest is an entirely different ability.)
