Most of us like films, its kind of rare to find someone who doesnt have one film they love. But which is yours, which is the one film you can never be bored of watching. Why do you love it, is it just because its funny, because there isn't another film like it or because of its moral values.

My favourite is Shaun Of The Dead. Mainly because its witty comedy with zombies set in the UK, but even beyond the comedy it does have at least 3 moments that are truly sad for me (Pete dying and Shauns mum, Barbara dying, Shaun leaving Ed). Then you have the fantastic buddy relationship between Shaun (Simon Pegg) and Ed (Nick Frost), its not one of those cheesy film relationships its a lot more realistic, mainly because the two are mates in real life. Add the fantastic actors, the fact the zombies stay true to the zombie rule and also the bonus of killing to the music of "Dont stop me now", Shaun Of The Dead is a fantastic piece of comedy and remains one of the greatest comedys I've ever seen.

Advent Children, the only reason I actually wanted to play VII, sure Cloud was annoying, but the movie had so many references to VII, that I wanted to find out the full story and find out who the hell Zack Fair was.
Resident Evil series, I LOVE zombie films, especially Resident Evil, it's zombie film with more sci-fi, only downside would be the absence of a certain Leon S. Kennedy. >_>
Jay & Silent Bob Films, of all the movies I've ever seen, anything written by Kevin Smith is legendary. It may be immature, mostly, but they all have a great story behind it.

x3 Like Therath, I also adore zombie movies, like the Resident Evil series, and 28 Days Later. Which is pretty surprising seeing as I'm also REALLY.. wimpy.. when it comes to blood.. owo But when I see a zombie die.. I don't care.. it's when the others get bitten.. Dx

I also love the Silent Hill film.. I thought it was really good. ;-;
People will hate me for liking it.. but I dunno.. I guess it's cos' I watched the film BEFORE playing Silent Hill.. So I see the film as being good.. Plus PYRAMID HEAD~ @.@ I had nightmares..
The pointyness of the helmet freaked me out..

But yeah.. I prefer horror films.. and comedy.. but more horror.. as long as I have cushion, or someone else nearby.. ;-;
Conclusion: Resident Evil(The first film) and Silent Hill are my favourites.

Horror movies are fantastic, I've gotten to watching them late at night when I'm usually by myself, sometimes they suck, sometimes enough to be funny. But I still enjoy watching them. :p

I know right! x3

But.. would you be more inclined to films with gore.. or more psychological horror.. or survival..? O:
Obviously the latter two for me because of my favourites. :3

Gore and psychological horror, the Saw series has plenty of both.

I am Legend gave me an excuse to go out into the street and scream, "OH MY GOD, ZOMBEH CANCER PATIENTS!!!" It was a pretty cool movie, though.

Bridge to Terabithia was sad, really macabre for a children's movie, too.

When I was a kid, the movie Titanic was my favorite MAINLY because of the scenes when the ship sank. I honestly didn't care about Rose and Jack's love story... at first.

Today, I have to say that it's Wanted. Curving bullet trajectories? Now that's something a REAL assassin would do. /facepalm

I actually don't watch alot of movies and I definitely can not stand horror movies. I always get sick from watching them, don't know why.

A good movie that comes to my mind is The Sawshank Redemption. The Lion King is also good for its nostalgic values and lovely villain. >=D

Wow....that's a really hard question for me

I really like dysneys clasic animated movies like herculies, this is my fav animated movie

my fav action movie has to be vantage point, I really love the way they made the movie, turning back time to see
the "incident" from different people's perspective, slowly revealing the entire plot, and I was about o cry when that truck almost hit that little girl....

I also like shrek 2 and 4 I think their the best shrek movies

but titanic and Avatar were great, whe I was litle I also liked titanic because of the sinking ship and the part where Jack paints a picture of rose 0.0. That's all I cared about, I didn't even knew their names. Bu now I really like it bcause of the story and the music..... I never get tired of that song

I love avatar, it has stunning, beautiful scenes and I lvethe way that the Na'Vi are so kind with nature.....unlike us who destroy nature to create solid, concrete cities with not one little piece of green left

I neve thougt about that until I saw Avatar... And Wall-e they both teach a very valuable lesson........Take Care Of The F**** Planet dammit!!!!!!!

Recycling is good for u

but from all those movies my fav has to be between Vantage Point or Avatar (not the last airbender)

I don't know, I have a lot of movies that I like and have watched numerous times, so I'll probably just go through a short list of movies.

The Star Wars Trilogy was probably the highlight of my childhood, so much so that I watched the Special Edition VHS tapes until they started to wear out. I still have them, but I don't have a VCR anymore since getting rid of my old TV (which had a built in VCR).

For a more current movie, The Dark Knight was the most anticipated movie of the year for me when it first came out and it didn't disappoint me. I went to go see it in theaters a grand total of twelve times, so with the additional twelve or so times I watched it on DVD, I've seen it at least two dozen times. It was just a great movie with phenomenal acting, a compelling storyline, and the greatest, end all, beat all, Joker of all time. (Eat your heart out, Jack Nicholson).

There's a few others I loved as a child, mostly Disney movies like Aladdin, Hercules, The Lion King, and The Brave Little Toaster. They all have nostalgic value for me and I'd still watch them granted we had them.

It's a bit weird that while I'm more of an anime person my favourite movies are Scarface and V for Vendetta. Ha ha ha.

TherathxRikku

I think Kingdom of Heaven was about the Crusades in Jerusalem, I haven't seen it, but that's what I'm told.

@Shinryuu, anime movies are hard to get sucked into, if you've followed the series, then they're hard to like. Hayao Miyazaki is pretty successful, I have to say. His movies are the shiz.
