Pirates Vs Ninjas

The question is....whose side of the war are you on. Who do you think is cooler....the pirate or the ninja.

For me, it be pirate all the way. Arr cause we get to have a laugh, explore the seas and use our might and force to take what we want. We be the true and free men, who can have any wenches that take our fancy ARR

I prefer the concept of a Ninja, and the representation of Ninjas in most forms of media, sans Naruto. Pirates are also pretty cool, but I think it ultimately depends on what type of pirate they are. I consistently prefer representations of Ninjas over that of Pirates.

Interesting to note; while I don't like Naruto Ninjas, I do quite like One Piece Pirates.

What kind of pirates/ninjas are we talking about? The brutal pirates who kill people for fun and have a laugh out of it or the "honorable" pirates who follows a codex, ninjas who do things out of necessity and as a job or ninjas who are cold and distant about every aspect of life?

But when you think about it he's not much of a ninja. He's not stealthy, he's definately not quiet and he's too much about honour, not enough about being a hired sword (which is most accurate really).

I was thinking more classic Ninja and Classic Pirate (so the clan of cold but honourable assassins Vs the ruthless, cruel family of theifs who live on a boat and take what they want)

That's a fair point, and shiek was the first ever ninja (FACT).
