Which was the best spin-off?

We all know that FFVII's had a million spin-offs, but which was the best one. Personally I haven't played before crisis, but I like Crisis Core the most, it had awesome graphics, an awesome story and a good fighting system.

Such a hard choice, but I think because it focuses on the least known character from the main game and develops his character I'd have to go with Crisis Core.

Advent Children Complete did ok to repair some of the damage the original caused, but for condemming Cloud forever to the role of "miserable sod" and for changing Sephiroth from giggling till he needs to hold his chest insane to posh gentleman killer I couldnt possibly vote for it.

I see, I never saw any more of AC complete than the omnislash "v.6" so I don't really know it, I just grouped them together because I thought it was the same thing really.

Complete was better then the original, but its still the same movie really but with extra scenes.

Crisis Core definitely, It gives some better insight to FFVII than Advent Children, which can really just be watched as a standalone movie for some people.

id have to go with crisis core and so will most people cus it answered a lot of questions about ff7 storyline unlike some of the spin-offs

I'd have to say Crisis Core because it explained more about what happened before FFVII. Plus, I really enjoyed playing it. ^__^

Well...In terms of gaming, I'm gonna go with CC. But in terms of broadening the story, I'd say ACC. Also, why put up Last Order? It's basically an anime-styled take on Sephy's descent into madness.

It also explains the story of how Zack and Cloud got to midgar (or didn't) in more detail. That and some consider it non-canon because there are several discrepencies between FFVII, Last Order and Crisis Core.
