So, we have discussion on Kuja's Auto-Magic chase infinite...thing. So, where does that leave the Void Tree?
Reverse Polarity -> Reverse Polarity
I do not believe it is an infinite as it is escapable. Discuss, please.

Wait.....what?

In other words, keep using Reverse Polarity in short bursts to attack the opponent.

It's escapable. Quite easily also.

Pretty sure it isn't an infinite. I've been hit a couple times in a row before but I've never seen someone do it indefinitely.

So then, I can try and chain this together as many times as I like with no repercussions?

Well, I guess that'd be ok... I mean it's like saying OSV5-Slash blow-OSV5 is an infinite. It's easily escapable and it isn't your problem if your opponent is either misinformed and believes it's an infinite or they just don't know how to escape it...
Go for it?

It's not an infinite if it's escapable, it's exploiting the opponents lack of knowledge.

It's not an infinite but it is pretty darn annoying lol. Eventually though you'll either miss or one of you will hit against a wall or banish trap or an obstacle will get in your way, and that's assuming you judge perfectly each time.
OR they could just do an HP attack which has higher priority than RP. And I think quite a few do.

RP is pretty fast at close range. It will mostly hit the opponent during their starting lag.

I think moves like Octaslash, Shield of Light, Earthquake, etc. would beat RP.

To do that, you'd have to dodge out of the stagger first, which would negate the point in doing something to counter it anyway.
'Course, you could still do all of that stuff as a counterattack.

Octoslash has a long enough start up to be hit by RP but it's a pretty small window I'll admit, alternatively you could just dodge backwards and block it.
SoL guard properties are the same as a regular block, RP'ing into before the actual HP attack will stagger WoL, same goes for SB, Wrath etc
Eartquake will beat RP though but you should really be forcing Garland into the air where a lot easier to deal with.

All three can also be punished by RP.
Again guys this isn't infinite. It doesn't work. It works as well as Blizzard Combo -> Blizzard Combo which needless to say ALSO doesn't work.
It can hit SOMETIMES. But only with the way the opponent will act to the RP.
You can TRY and chain it. But really I think the only people will it even remotely effect is people who are lagging.

I'd need to check, but I'm pretty sure there's a window (not after staggered but after hit) in which some HP attacks can be used so that RP won't work. Of course, that's assuming that RP goes directly at them and not from the sides or behind.

Depending on where you release RP, it can be behind the opponent.

It might be an infinite against the ceiling, if your timing is inhuman...

I've chained 3 or 4 of 'em together before. Wallrushed him straight up the wall to the ceiling for Delta Attack. Was amazing.
