Slashing Blow [down] -> Ariel Fang -> Chase and smash to ground -> Dash Forward - Braver/Cross Slash

Would this work or is there too many oppertunities for the enemy?

It probably wouldn't work unless against a really slow or laggy human opponent, because in those moves there are several points where the enemy has a chance to recover, also full moves have a lag of their own so you may not be able to finish the moves fast enough.

The enemy can block, dodge, or do anything in between all of those attacks. A good combo is one where the opponent is trapped and will be hit by each attack, this is more of a very offensive string of attacks that will get you punished severely.

You'd be much better off sticking to the typical Climhazzard-->DC-->Slashing Blow

Lol, Aerial Fang wouldn't beable to hit a struck enemy like that, Chase could fail, and HP braver doesn't always hit downed foes. Too many flaws. I used to main Cloud back when I thought he wasn't so widely used, and you're best off just running and dodging, throwing in Bravers here and there to keep opponents on defensive and throwing them off, and landing in the occasional slashing blow when you can.

Just tried the Climhazzard>DC>Slashing blow>Ov5 combo and... holy hell it works. never tried all those dc tricks, glad I joined this place :D:D:D

actually he meant the first half of slashing blow DC to aerial fang, u cant pull off any wallrush combos except rising fang to rising fang u can pull off 2 slashing blows to omnislash, but it really depend how far you are from your opponent to pull off the second omnislash.

Since you were unaware of the Climhazzard->DC->Slashing Blow and you Sub Sephiroth, you should look at some of his, they're pretty brutal brave rape combos.

i suggest looking at more of advent_evas vids he wrote the book on clouds combos, try double cut to slashing blow <- when opponent is in the air after the first hit from double cut you can jump and force slashing blow upon your opponent due to landing lag < thats clouds most reliable combo since most people tend to stay in the air and double cuts speed is wut makes it reliable.

Double Cut is definitely a necessity for Cloud's ground game, you could also do Cross Slash if you wish, not as effective, but hitting anyone with Cross Slash is like the ultimate insult :cool:

I didn't throw in the jump. Idk, now it's working excellently. I stayed up like 3 hours yesterday just spamming attacks with Sephy using DC's since I've never done that before. Ah the joys. So much fun against level 150 opponents even though I only deal like 300 brv damage per combo. It got me more lufenian armor, that's what counts I guess. But yeah, I'm trying to combo more with Cloud and I think my timing was probably off. Like I was hesitating after DC. Idk, I'm new to the DC w/e, so I should get better.. at some point.

Also, try using double Cut->Cross Slash=Laugh at them all you want even if you lose. :D
