Lightnings sword is NOT a gunblade...it's insulting to Squall unique weapon design...a gunblade is a Gun /w a blade used at the same time by trigger melée strikes that cause explosive damage...lightnings sword switches from a gun into a sword...which n my opinion is nothing close to a gunblade...but more of a sword only from the way she seems to use it..and can b transformed to range battling by switching into a gun...

So...ZOMG!!!(<-I just thought this was necessary)...please....don't ever....ever....at all...call lightning's sword...a GUNBLADE!!...-_-

I don't think the chances of Zack are very high at all. Considering VII already has three representatives. That'd really be showing favoritism if they gave one game four and some haven't even gotten two yet (Like XI and XIII).

I'm hoping for Rinoa as well, she could be like a gray area character. Be a Cosmo's character, but Ultimecia could posses her (like in FFVIII) and command her to help Chaos.

Both of them are called gunblades but since they are from different worlds they don't work remotely the same and are not the same weapon but they do share the same name.

I just watched the trailer and read the stickied threads, I'm wondering about a few things. Not sure if the answer is known yet..

Is Kuja a cosmos character now? Was Shantotto not playable at the TGS - is that why no one had any comments on her changes? Who's the old white-haired guy, Golbez skin? Is it just me or does Cloud seem to be wearing his pre-SOLDIER uniform?

And one last thing, I thought there was originally a release date announced for April 2011. Did I just hear wrongly? Didn't find any info on a release date.

Game looks awesome though, story looks to be a lot better.

Kuja is considered as a Cosmos character by Bartz and Zidane and...but also seen talking with Kefka...It is a possibility that he's a spy or he really is a Cosmos character...
I think Shantotto is not playable because Rei-N didn't mention her changes in his TGS data thread...

The release date is Spring 2011...gamestop and other OL retailers listed 012 as March 2011 release...

I was thinking since they said something about memory loss, Kuja (who does repent at the end of FF9) gets his memory wiped and consequently is on Cosmos until he loses his memory or something and goes Chaos in Dissidia.. ehhh.

As for Rosch, considering how they had him in the Proudclad most of the time, it'd be tough, but they could make him something akin to a caster, but using the little satellite-type modules, sorta like Golbez's Attack System.

Just saw the new videos!!! I may have said YES a few times, I'm glad no one is around to hear me...

But wow, Vaan's style looks totally different to what everyone was guessing and describing. The weapon switching stuff just seems to function like Bartz's attacks, his real thing is his Concurrence rape things. I love how his EX Burst ends in White Hole, to contrast to Gabranth. Beautiful! Tifa incorporates Materia into her attacks which is awesome, her EX Burst looks bloody hard though. :|

Laguna... Laguna... He's... Just... Beautiful. Thankyou Square, this is the type of style I would've imagined but never thought you'd actually do. His Ragnarok gun was simply brilliant!

EDIT: Oh my god, Melkor will be happy. EDEAMECIA!!! I never thought they would do it, marvellous. Love Squalls new Gay Scene look, and I'm glad they did an outfit based on Amano OK but... He looks like a lil' douche, lol.

Honestly... I fangasmed when I saw Lightning's Aya costume. I love PE and was excited for 3rd Birthday, but now- YES!

I also can't wait for Gilgamesh. Hopefully one of his costumes will be from FFXII.
