US/EU demo release dates speculation (UNCONFIRMED!!!!)

Okay... I decided to sit down and do some maths, and I have figured out two possible release dates for the demos in EU/AU and US.

US: 5th FEb this year
UK/AU: 8th Feb this year

if I am wrong.. oh well, I tried. If I'm right... I will rofl.

They only update the PS Store a certain day each week with thats week releases.

In the UK, you can usually find an update on a Thursday.

My guess is that the distance should be the same. @ Nevfx, I know they up data, but I should have been more specific in my intial post. The dates are hypatheical due to the PSN Store updating on diffent days, but I didn't incorparate that into my caculations. US date is a Saturday, and the EU/AU date is a Tuesday.

I thought of this too, but never actually bothered to determine what date.

This way, there is the same amount of time between the Jap demo and the Jap main game, and the EU/US demo and the EU/US main game. :P

Well.. let's just hope I'm right :P that way Everybody's happy.. though I still want to know how the hell we are going to get the 4th AC for some characters (most likely payed DLC on PSN). Well... just use the current date as an "expected" release date... It may be right, it may be wrong. We will not know till the date, okay? :P

If they plan to sell the game for $30, DLC might be a way to supplement their profits. Also, it'd make sense, maybe $5 for a costume pack of 10 costumes.

It's almost certain that we'e going to have to pay for Prologus. It was 300yen in Japan. I don't think they're just going to give it to us for free.

And it's not exactly a demo like we think, it's more along the lines of its namesake; a prologue to the actual game. Like DeadRising 2 Case:Zero, you had to pay for it, but it gave you things to give you a head start on the full release. We should stop calling it a demo, otherwise people are going to start thinking it is a demo, and then be all angry when they have to pay a little bit for it >.<

And I'd think DLC Costumes would be rather cheap. LittleBigPlanet costumes cost about 99c to $1.99, up to $3 to $5. $5 on the high end being for like, a complete pack of everything.

The japanese Prologus was on sale in the very first day it was announced, so maybe something similar happens to the english version.

No, we didn't. During Square Enix 1st Production Department Premier they said the demo can now (at that time) be downloaded off the PSN. So they've uploaded the demo on PSN on January 18th. They kept the release date secret for conference purposes.

Yes I think it's just right for him too. I think all of FFXII's characters have perfect voice for them.

It was more the battle system than anything for me. I like the turn based more. FFX I think had the perfect battle system. 13's was different too, but it was much more aesthetically appealing to watch than 12 :P

Well the date came and passed. I think we might get a possible demo not this week but not until March. It makes sense that they could have a shorter timeg ap in between because they might add those extra DLC into the demo. So even though the game is coming up in only a couple weeks you would still want the demo just for the DLC.

Not to stir anything up but I think we might get it this week or next week. Reason being is because on the official website they finally updated and put english gameplay last week pretty much when the psn recieved its weekly update. This is only my theory though :p

Update: Check out dissidia012game.com just announced an eu/us demo to be released soon. i can confirm that it will be before the release and that it will cost you a small amount and aerith is also unlockable just like in the jp demo
