There is quite a bit of lag after some of her summons. Shiva is quick but if you block right you can easily strike her back.

Shes good for newbies because she has strong attacks at good range. But if you block right instead of constantly dodge Yuna is nothing more then annoying and easily trapped in your power HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well, nothing wrong with spam at all, yeah I'm looking at some Squall mainers who spam HP attacks but hey, its part of the game.. sorta. Anyway, I don't think Yuna is extreme spam material, she's got some strong moves but getting in close to Yuna leaves her quite vulnerable. There's potential spam in everybody >:3

Reason why i say she gunna have ahard time with Exdeath and firion, most of her attacks are projectile, and spammy like :O

The only move I've seen from videos that look like they'd be easily spammed is the Shiva Brave attack, since it comes out pretty fast. Besides, even if her other moves seem spammy now, I'm sure that a strategy much better than spamming will be found once people have enough time to experiment with her moves, so that spamming becomes something that only beginners do.

Only played with for like one battle and I like what I see. Her starting skills are pretty balanced, giving her both close and long range attacks. It is true though, she really is left vulnerable if her summons are blocked. Her attacks are quick so that's a plus at least. I'm gonna check her out some more.

Honestly, I don't think Yuna's going to be that hard to read. I played a few matches against the computer and I pretty well figured out the range for her initial brave attacks. Just don't get too close and you won't have any trouble.

Yuna have so pretty interesting moves from what I've played. Her shiva you need to be quite close to make it hit. And her Ifrit too. But yes if you can read her moves she's easy to kill.

Shiva has small range and has a long enough cooldown to get punished, from what i noticed so far. Ifrit, Valefor and Bahamut (their BRV attacks) are safe for spamming, though. Just keep an eye out for opponentes who get too close.

Yuna is spammy? I never saw one. Well isnt her attacks assist punishable? Why is everyone having problems with that? She's not hard to read. Granted random HP takes after failed brv moves can catch some people of guard. I think the best (melee character) against her is Zidane cause all you really need is speed against her

??? Yuna is good for newbs? Meh. I know that there are some people who have a hard time using her. Oh well. ^.^ I love to spam her Energy Ray and Mega Flare. I'm a spammer myself for all characters.

The rule still applies though doesnt it? I mean she pretty much is still the sane but better used cause of months of practice and studying, I still find her easier to read then most but then again I don't see alot of Yuna mains

Spammer? Not really.

BRV.

Shiva - Builds assist, and other than that, can surprise your opponents when you are below them, and can punish certain startups.

Valefor - Dodge Punisher? Hmm. If used in the right time, you can use this to trick your opponent. Use it in dash ins in order for your opponent to think twice before doing it again.

Bahamut -Pressure tool when given space, and you can link this to Heavenly Strike when all of the charged projectiles hit the opponent.

----

Ifrit - Dodge Punisher? Can surprise your opponent with this somehow fast BRV.

Ixion - Block. When your opponent tries to block Ifrit, and knows you will use it, throw this one out, and call your assist when your opponent staggers. Easy HP attack follow up after this.

Valefor - Pressure tool, again, but not recommended since the startup and cooldown is punishable.

~~~
HP.
Shiva - Works like Jecht Block. (Thanks Sir Aldred!) You could use it to cover for your dodges.
Bahamut - Only use after an assist. Other than that, it's punishable.
Ixion - Dodge Punisher, only use after an assist.
---
Ifrit - Surprise your opponent when you're below him/her.
Valefor - Dodge Punisher too.
Idk what to add, since I'm not that pro with her yet. Correct me if I'm wrong but that s how I use them in a match.
Bahamut HP can surprise them if your at a somewhat distance but yea your right its kinda unsafe if they have a assist ready.
Valor on the ground doesnt seem that useful to me. Unless if it hits can you call a assist if it was fast? Like jecht?
Well, Valefor with Energy Blast may be useful.... if you just want to attempt in luring your opponents in to you... but that is all that I can think of. I rarely use Shiva. I use Ixion over her. Only time I actually use Shiva is when my opponent is real close but I might just use Ixion's HP attack over it. I think that Shiva would be spammed more when you have Yuna in Ex Mode. I think Valefor and Ixion are easy to spam.
Shiva is the number one spam move, but not to hit, its to build assist so you should use it more.
I always thought Yuna was better in the air, thats where most of her spam attacks are
There are so many misinformation here that isn't even funny. :(
There are plenty of other attacks that are spammable for assist (Hop Step, Swordslash, Swift Attack) that are on the same level as Yuna's Heavenly Strike. However, I remember seeing a lot of beginner Yuna players only using Heavenly Strike and Diamond Dust, and it wasn't even to mix up their game.
A convenient response that lets you walk away without giving any other information. You could try helping others rather than just being that guy who knows things and tells no one about them.
??? Did I say something wrong? Anyways Khell, what do you suggest are a beginner Yuna player? To me, Diamond Dust should only be used if you are attempting to trap the opponent in as they dash towards you. I never did consider that attack something that is good for spamming. Still, Energy Ray is a good move to spam, especially when you want to keep close range attacks away from you for a little bit. I don't recommend it to be used every time though. It will get old.
I use Yuna as one of my main characters, and I would say that she is an easy to play, hard to master character.
I will admit that Shiva's air BRV is brilliant to build assist meter, and I think she has one of the best HP move sets in the game including Hellfire and Diamond Dust.
She is a little slow with some delays in her moves like Mega Flare and Thor's Hammer as well as her projectile BRV attacks having a slow startup, so I would classify her as a mid-close range fighter.
Sure, you call me a noob all you like, but if you're any good at the game, you can beat any character in the game on any stage with a character of you choice, negating the noob argument.
