....Wasn;t this covered in the general discussion thread or something? Quite frankly Feral Chaos makes more sense than Desperado Chaos, regardless how "cool" Desperado Chaos sounds. I mean just LOOK at him, Feral is a very befitting word given how monstrous and animalistic he's become. Hardly a bad translation job, and really nothing worth crying about.

There can only be one type of Desperado in Duodecim, and that would be Laguna's EX Burst. Otherwise, the name Feral Chaos slowly grew on me. I wasn't originally happy about it either, xP

I don't see how Feral is a 'weak word.' Infact I applaud the use of Feral since it can be used for all sorts of definitions.

So I applaud the use of Feral and really that is just what he is. He's no longer the calm and calculative being we knew, he's now insane. Primal wouldn't work since Primal is usually used in a context which means 'earlier' while Endless would make no sense.

When fought in the storylines, Feral Chaos has access to Garland as an Assist and Shinryu Verus as a summon, which like the original Shinryu used by Chaos can be used multiple times during the battle. Additionally, due to an accessory when he is fought as a boss, the player's EX Gauge and Assist Gauge are drained to zero whenever Feral Chaos lands an HP attack, and his own EX Gauge and Assist Gauge increase 50% faster.

This is from Final Fantasy Wiki, but Feral Chaos is alot stronger and it's appearance is like demonic look than the normal Chaos in the first Dissidia.

I know it fits and everything, I just don't like it. Desperado sounded more scary, feral just sounds like he's a wild, stupid, beast.Which I suppose could be the point, but I haven't seen the story yet.

I also applaud the use of "feral." In fact, there had been a few times when I stated that his English name translation should be "Feral Chaos," so I for one am pleased. Seriously, some people just can't be pleased. Just enjoy the game, people; that's what it's there for.

I liked Desperado more (and personally will refer to him as such, but I'll publically say Feral if that makes sense lol), Chaos was losing multiple wars for a while, so he got desperate and became insane. Feral however does describe after the insanity, where he raged on everyone, destroying all in his path. Feral in the end fits better......Desperado just sounds cooler imo lol

I had always called him Feral Chaos since I first saw gameplay footage of him. So when I found out they used that as the official NA name, I was very happy about it. It suits him a crap load better than Desperado.

i think about 20-something, if I remember correctly
but only 2 or three are in Duodecim, depending on whether confessions of the creator counts

though that's only if you set aside my personal theory that the dissidia cycles are part of an even larger cycle that's totally just a theory and not canon and involves FF1's loop and cid

I guess that 14-20 where not real, they happened in some sort of nightmare world that Shinryu trapped Cid in becuz he was pissed that Cid rebelled against him in the 13th cycle(i remember i read this somewhere, i think its in Cid's character files) but that's just my theory. =0

I think that Feral is more fitting, but Desperado sounds better. Personally though, I'm still kind of upset that we got Feral Chaos at all. I would've been so much more content if we just got a straight up playable Chaos. There was no need to create a new character that is sort of an old character while that old character is still not playable. I would almost be happier if we just had one less character altogether. But that's just my way of looking at it, and no one cares about my problems.

Don't forget that Chaos has no Abilities, while Feral Chaos does (though with high CP cost). Either way, Feral Chaos rapes his weaker self any day. Oh, and Chaos has no Assist Gauge nor does he have an EX Gauge, so he can't call Assists or EX Revenge.
