I would have preferred the Songstress outfit over the gunner... but oh well! Depending on how much it is, I might pick it up when it hits the PSN. I think I will pick up the music though when it hits. FFX was one of my favourite scores.

Dunno whether that pic is legit or not, but I don't see why DLC Yuna /wouldn't/ be gunner Yuna. They've used up all her FFX costumes and then some. And the main theme of the DLC costumes seems to be "Appearance in other games." At least, for Cloud, Sephiroth, and Squall.

It's probably real. (read: I hoping to god it is and if it isn't I shall rage big time) My favourite DLC so far, since I'm not the hugest fan of Vaan's, Laguna's or Sephi's at the moment. But I wish they made it a gun in her hand, while she summons the Aeon's, just to make it look more awesome.

I used to have mixed feelings about that outfit. On one hand, it's an awesome outfit and a wonderful piece of character design. On the other hand, Yuna's outfit (and personality) made such a drastic change going from X to X-2 that it felt a little weird.

But still, I eventually got used to it. And when I think of Yuna, that's the outfit that comes to mind. Mainly because I played X-2 a lot more than I played X (both due to new game+ and the fact that my copy of X was messed up).

I was kind of hopping for Lenne or Songstress, but this will do nicely.

Voices don't change, man. Not sure what you're talking about, because I've never seen anything to suggest that they would do something like that. They're just skins.

Either way, that looks dumb, if only because she has a staff >.< Shoulda changed it to a rifle :p And of course Tidus' DLC will be Shuyin. He doesn't have anything else either :p It'd be really cool if they changed his blitzball to the World Champion like Shuyin used, but they probably won't. Every time they make a DLC they find some way to jigger it.

They don't mention the original source, same with other sites. There's no real source of this screenshot and I wouldn't call it confirmed.

You've mentioned this a few times, now you've got me curious. And it is somewhat relevant to the thread's subject. So, just how different are these lines? Are we talking about completely different lines or is it more of a tone of voice kind of thing?

I just saw Yuna's DLC and I think it's great. Yuna from X-2 with the staff doesn't bother me much, but it would have been cool to have guns. Now I'm waiting for Terra's and Tifa's DLC.

So could it be assumed that all characters will have DLCs? I figured some like Kain will have the DLC like without the helm as in the cutscenes.
If this is Yuna's that'd be cool, but I was expecting a better one, like the songstress. Also, since it has DLC 1, could there be a 2? That would mean there would be more than one DLC for Yuna perhaps. That'd be nice.

EX Modes don't tend to too radically change the appearance of the character from their base outfit, since it would mean loading a separate character model; what they do currently is turn on or off the visibility of some parts of the character model and/or switch the texture skin. Floral Fallal would probably need to load too complex of a character model to instantaneously replace the Gunner Dressphere. Think Sephiroth and the reason he gains a single wing instead of becoming Safer Sephiroth.

Not entirely true, there are characters that have drastically different Ex mode models, like say, Terra, Gigamesh's Alt1 or Kefka's six winged god form, Zidane, kuja, etc. I think the reason Sephiroth has the single wing form instead is because it just fits the purpose of the character better in this game, and it's also just as awesome as safer mode =P
Floral Fallal actually seems like a very real possibilty, though I imagine they would downsize it so its not covering the whole screen XP
