Well right now there is no #1 bartz player. But Kumo and Dave will probably be the best or know the most about bartz.

Other than that it was ok I guess. I could tell you to spam Holy more but it's hard to do on a stage like Kefka's Tower, so you played correctly for the situation I think. I would reccommend getting better at blocking Scatterspray Blizzaga though.

That Kefka looked kind of dumb. Was it a CPU?

Plus, he just said he wanted to watch a good Bartz fight, not anything about skill 8D

LOL. This is...... somewhat true for me, too. I prefer to maintain something of a long-distance relationship with my opponents, so if I'm in the air, it's Holy spam. If I'm on the ground, say hello to Lead Impulse/Flood. THANK YOU, TERRA.

I don't think I'm good enough to post videos.Most of us aren't lol. A majority of the really good people on these forums had imported the Japanese version and playing that ever since, so a bunch of us are in the same boat as you.

Grounded Bartz might not be a bad idea against Cloud though. I occasionally have trouble with them when I stay in the air too much. I think because it's easier to wall rush me in the air (and Omnislash).

It is my honest opinion that a Bartz vs. Cloud matchup generally favours Bartz. Oh yes. :D Looks like Dave was pretty much in control of that fight. Were you toying with Nero, Dave? XD You could've dished out HP attacks halfway through to end the fight but you saved it.

Bartz has a great ground game against melee fighters.

I was trying to do Lead axe > Slide hazzard > Wind shear combo but somehow I accidentally did a full slide hazzard. Thats what happens to me if I don't play Bartz often sigh! Oh well Golbin punch ftw :pIf you do that you can still hit with Paladin Force or Goblin Punch.

I still think it would be totally awesome if Bartz used the Chicken Knife when you failed his Ex Burst.That would be awesome.

Also, this is off-topic but I just noticed it in the video - is Solid Ascension -> Holy a guaranteed link since it leave Bartz off the ground after SA (like Terra's Meteor -> Holy)? Or does it only work sometimes?

Its not a guaranteed hit, it only hit that time because Nero tried to charge back down, however it is had to see, but if you know its coming, its avoidable, also as I said before not as safe as after slide hazard but still can be a nice approach

Its a guarantee when the opponent crashes on the ceiling and bartz is close to them when he casts holy. A perfect map that would demonstrate this is on the top of Kefka's tower where there is little room for the opponent to recover and bartz can cast holy right after. In the video, it is not always a guarantee hit as people will be able to recover in time before holy hits them. It is nice to use holy after SA because you might catch the opponent off guard and it is safe for Bartz to cast holy after SA because there is no way opponents can punish Bartz due to the recovery from SA.

Only Ulti and Kuja outrange him, but range diesnt make it hard to holy camp

Zidane and Tidus outspeed him, which males holy camping difficult

Im also having a hard time with squall recently
