Right, so as it says above there's a reason I'm posting about the same kind of subject every FF-related forum site has, instead of simply asking "What do you like most about.....".

Simply put, my cousin Leif (that's his name, yes.) is attempting to make an indie rpg. His overall idea is to make an rpg similar in gameplay to most FF games, including things like 'summons' and leveling magic, but in a way that everyone can find joy in it without becoming annoyed by different aspects of the gameplay.

"I don't want it to be like those games where you have to go to one side of the map for a stupid item, then go all the way to the other side to use the damn item, and other crap like that that ruins the fun of the game by making you waste time."

So we've both decided to make a list of pros and cons of rpg games. I'm too lazy to make a whole list, therefore I'm asking you all (plus I havn't played many rpg's like FF and Pokemon, etc.:p)

Well then, who likes what and who hates what?

Personally, I can't stand the type of gamplay quoted above, like in FFII where you have to go through the snow cave to get the Goddess's Bell than trek all the way down to the bottom of the map to use it. Does get annoying after awhile, right?

Your turn.....
