Sephiroth rides the ceiling generally when playing Jecht (or stays above him I should say). When Jecht approaches, he's still below him in almost every situation. Just dropping is only going to get you hit since Jecht sets up the attack to punish cooldown which means you're making a choice to let the cooldown rock and try something post cooldown (which Jecht will watch for) or d/c to safety and try to ready a counter attack.

The whole point of getting Sephiroth in that situation is that it's Jechts (basically only) advantage so my one option covers multiple of yours. Granted you won't have to worry about it often and on stages like Orphans Cradle, Jecht basically is a kitten.

Exactly. But the trick isn't saying "here, Seph, just sit in this corner for me", it's more like the Seph knows he can't dodge towards Jecht without two bars or he'll get tagged so Jecht kind of plays the role of herder trying to get this (overly dangerous) sheep into a position where Seph CAN'T dodge out of Jechts range (which only requires a straight wall).

Assists become the name of the game and Jecht also wants to build with dodges/blocks (brv). He'll want to try and corner Seph in a way that his dodging isn't as effective. Those are Jechts options. It's not an easy match up at ALL though. Seph has a VERY clear advantage on open stages.

your such a pans.. do a 160 pushups a day 60 dips and 500 crunches... 200 flutter kicks 8 leg lifts, 40 squats and run 2 miles a day.. if that doesnt make you "burn" curl 25 pound dumbells 20 times each arm twice a day with 40 lat extensions a day

yeah stay away from those.. you should have got to know her better before getting "serious". You quit working out or are you figuring it out

Micro or marco, they're still there. My small team of 7 at work has them, the thousands of people on GameFAQs have their fair share as well. It's all in how you want to look at it I suppose. I'm more interested in the people I'd prefer to interact with rather than those I wouldn't XD

I don't own SCV actually. Had to forsake lots of fighters for SFxT.

Also, that's Dissidia. Your problem seems to be with the game, not how people approach it. Remember, those same players aren't exactly finding it fun to deal with the blatant spam that works so well with Sephiroth (not just SF). He's one of the strongest safe assist builders in the game and that means people need to be cautious fighting him. I will tell you right now that Jecht has 0% chance of winning against Seph on most stages if he doesn't camp and play patient. It's literally the stupidest thing you can do to engage Seph right off and keep pressure up.
