I think it's possible but Dart & Weave deals more damage.

Check this out for basic combos with Jecht.

Jecht is actually way better than Yuna as an assist. Not only because of the damage he can deal, but also he is easier to perform combos with.

Yep, it's okay in order to do double dodge in case you need it on the ground.

And perfect that you're in Manila, there are always some casuals happening in that area. Tournaments only happen like, every 3 or so months. We just had one last May.
