He's all about that EX. Since he isn't a damaging character or a wallrusher, taking full adv of his EX game is what I always run. And yeah, two growth eggs might prove useful. His accessories have wiggle room for customization, he doesn't need to focus on depletion. Whatever you do, always keep Great Gospel though. Plenty characters can counter Hurricane ceiling combos for free breaks. To counter this (if the opponent doesn't have a bar), you combo into Hurricane at ceiling height, then call Kuja during the halfway point of the animation and you'll connect the HP while Kuja scoops em out. Then, assist chase to Sword Slash, and your brv should recover to base before the blow -- courtesy of Great Gospel. It's nice to have the regen too I suppose, since he's in EX at least twice a fight

My reasoning for using the 45cp boost is to get 1000+ for the boosted regen, and Achy+ to compliment it. Dem assist charges off Electrocute yo.
