Hello! I saw you were asking about the IRC and thought I'd give a detailed explanation. You can find the link to the #Dissidia IRC here, and the #DDFFCasual IRC here. There's also mIRC, which lets you use scripts and customized text. The download is here, and the free trial never expires, despite claiming to. To join a channel there, you need to connect to the IRCHighway server, and then type /join #channelname (so "/join #Dissidia", for example) to join a channel. #Dissidia acts as a chatroom for all members of DF. As such, the topic is rarely, if ever, actually about DDFF, but it's a good place for socialization. #DDFFCasual, however, is specifically for DDFF, and probably what you want to check out.
