...You...forget it. Anyways, you should unequip Low Guard because it's worthless. Equip one of his other attacking abilities. Use Middle Guard to block any BP attacks and counter with one of the following moves:
Sword Dance: Forward O
Hurricane: O
Vacuum Wave: Back O
Almagest: Square
Grand Cross: Back Square

Use them at the following ranges:

Sword Dance: Mid
Hurricane: Close
Vacuum Wave: Long
Almagest: Close-Mid
Grand Cross: Long
After you get to lv. 3, toss Middle Guard for High Guard.
