According to this thread, the dodge cancel combo should work as long as the second bullet hits, but I haven't tested it against a human player yet.

I use Sephiroth. Great punisher, can combo into flare star out of every single one of kujas attacks, not to mention the high damage output

Using Sephiroth is basically like having Kuja assist himself. Very useful indeed.

Wonderful combo vid! At last someone noticed kuja as a playable character. Just a question about sephiroth assist, is there any other HP attack that you can combo to it aside from flare star? I find him really useful especially in stages with less ground.

If you wait for the assist chase noise to end and then press "X" you can use Force Symphony.

I see.. I have to try that. I tried linking force symphony in CoD assist but the enemy recovers too quickly.

The only way to get Force Symphony in is while she's still attacking (like 0:23 in the video).
The opponents recovery time for her assist chase is so short that burst energy, and possibly strike energy, are the only things you can use before they recover.
